I have some pain in my wife's (44Y) knee since a week ago. Is Diacerein & Glucosamine Sulphate Tablets (Mobycerein) Biogenetic Pharma any side affect ? Pls suggest me. Having a total knee replacement done in March have tried every type of therapies for pain, including CORTISONE and ORTHOVISC, but nothing helps... Doctor put me on Norco (5mg. / 325 mg.). It takes the edge off of my pain. (Also forgot to mention I'm dealing with severe bursitis in my hip in which I'm having the knee replacement surgery done on...) But still in a lot of pain. Can I asked the Orthopedic Surgeon to up the dosage to 7.5 mg. / 325 mg.? Also, is it safe taking this medication for two months prior to my surgery? Need some relief from pain until March... (Had my other knee replaced 5 years ago and took Norco 10/325 for 5 weeks after surgery to help with pain especially during therapy.) Anyones advise on this question? Thanks Much! i have severe pain in my left knee for 8 months ,ican not bend the leg ,even scoting is a problem and standing for for few minutes ,went to scan and found out that i have got collection of water in the barsa, the doctor prisrcibed olfen one cap of 100mg for day for five days, i feel some releve but will it stop the pain forever or it is for emergency.

He's 17 so he was prescribed with light dosage of soma it really worked well and now he has overcome that pain. So i would suggest you to try Soma but you should consult your doctor first.

I was in an an auto accident 2 yrs ago and both knees made impact with dash. At first not much pain but now pain is chronic because of loss of cartlidge.Should I be taking something to help rebuild the cartlidge? And as the pain goes after working all day it's so bad I dont sleep at night and have tried Alieve, Advil, etc. but it wont help. Any advice? ## Unfortunately nothing rebuilds cartilage that the regular person can afford. Stem cell therapy is being experimented with. A US pharmacy used to sell them. What ingredient was in the first version of Ortega that they sold? The pain was relieved after the first use, also helped my son with his pain after surgery on his cartilage on his knee. ## Correction - It was not a US pharmacy, the name of the store is "the US Pharmacy" on main street. They were a purple pill, then they changed to orange and then back to purple but a thinner round purple pill, that I believe they stopped selling the original one. I found taking fish oil (omega 3 tablets) and/or flax seed tablets very helpful. Reduced and then eliminated knee pain. Can also grind small quantities of flax seed and refrigerate it. Added a spoonful to my food. My doctor recommended Celadrin. That's very effective too.

I have have hip replacement and knee replacement. Shoulder surgery with screws attached. I visited a doctor about my knee pain and he told me that i am suffering from arthritis. He advised me to take these tablets: glucosamine, mathylsulfonylmethane & diacerein and calcize. I took at least a month worth and it seems i got red spots all over my back. So please advise whether I can continue to take these tablets? I have been on Xarelto 5 days now, after being switched off Coumadin when I was in the hospital for blood clots in multiple arm veins. On the 3rd day of Xarelto, started to get tightness in my calf and a little bit in thigh. Slowly it is getting worse, as well as knee pain. The weird thing is it is not swelling and it comes and goes. Saw where this can be a side effect, but haven't seen or heard how long I can expect this to last, if it gets better, etc.? I have been perscribed tendocare 1 tab daily for knee pain due asteoarthiritis along with etoricoxib tab and cartigen. I am also on medication for ldl. In first instance I used HP KIT ( THREE TABLETS ) for 14 days . then I used pentacid dsr one tablet before break fast for a month as per my doctors advise , At present I am using pantacid DSR when I noticed gastric symtoms only . I'm taking Coltchicine,Tramadol but I still feel the pain everyday. ## Have you discussed this with your doctor? How long have you been taking them, at the current dose? The Cholchicine has really only been shown to be effective a treating gout, however, the Tramadol is an analgesic used to treat pain. But there is always the possibility that these just aren't the right medications to help with your pain, or if you've been taking them for a long period of time, you may have grown tolerant to them and require a dosage adjustment.
