Klonopin Urine Test Show False Positive For Meth

I am taking adderall and clonazepam and my urinalysis showed up as methamphetamine. Is one of these drugs causing this? ## Yes. The adderall. It IS AN AMPHETAMINE. You will withdrawal from it as well. ## Does klonipin and d-amphetamine salts combo show positive in urine anylis? ## Sure wish people would think before they post a question... think about it, adderall clearly states on the capsule/bottle: Amphetamine Salts.... do you really have to ask why you failed a drug test for methamphetamines? Slap yourself, Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine, and the test would reflect the same....Think people, God gave you brain, use it and put the pills down

I take 1mg of Lorazepam AS NEEDED for anxiety. I was rushed to the hospital and while there they did a urine drug test that showed up negative for Lorazepam (or any benzo for that matter). I took a Lorazepam the morning before. Since it showed up negative, I have been discharged as a patient due to noncompliance. How is that even possible, much less fair? I go to a methadone clinic, a nurse forced drug screen showed positive for xanax and clonazepam metoolites. I have not taken klonopin for two years, the clinic is adament that I had to have taken it,, and I am 100% sure I did not. My Meds are methadone, xanax, lamictal, diovan, celexa, synthroid, amatriptaline, ambien, compazine. My over the counter meds are, nyquil (migraine treatment along with the compazine) calcium, prenatal vitamin, B12, D3. please help, my take home status will be revoked, and I know I didn't do it.. ## Ok update. They claim that the drug company again tested down the urine and the same results showed. Hi, I have been taking Klonopin for 25 years due to panic attacks and neurological reasons... a seizure/tremor disorder. I've seen a neurologist and have had EEGs given. I'm also on methadone at a clinic and have been for 20 years. In all this time, I've never had a false negative or positive. I had to switch Drs lately because of insurance issues and they're affiliated with the county hospital. I went in a week ago and had a urine analysis done for the Klonopin. It didn't show! I've taken 2 a day for a year and 4 daily for 24. I have never missed a day. I can't function without it. They mentioned a blood test and I said to go for it but the lab tech was gone. So, they sent it to their lab and gave me enough for a week only to find it's a false negative. ...

I take several meds from a psychiatrist & my Primary doctors. My drug testing has come back with methamphetamine showing up. Would like to know which of the following medications, if any, could be causing this false positive: klonopin, clonidine, bentyl, nexium, estradiol, lasix, gabapentin, latuda, trileptal, potassium, phenergan, spironolactone, trazodone, effexor, lasix, oxycodone. ## Phenerge would cause a false positive for Methamphetamine It is a weight loss drug!

My mom did a urine drug test on me at home. I currently take suboxone to get off of prescription pain killers which I have been addicted to for 12 years. I am also taking klonopin for anxiety but nothing else. The test showed that I was positive for opiates which I assumed I would be because of the suboxone, but I was also positive for methamphetamine's which I have never done in my lifetime. What would of caused that to be a positive result? ## Yes, the Buprenorphine in the Suboxone can cause a false positive for Oxycodone, which is probably why the opiates showed up. However, neither it nor the Klonopin are known to cause false positives for Methamphetamine. Have you taken anything else? Even over the counter products? ## I too am subscribed suboxone. Urinalysis every appointment....
