I have been on Klonopin off and on for 3 years now, since my child was killed. It seems like when I end up taking it for anxiety and sleep problems, after it wears off I become Extremely moody and depressed. Does anyone else experience that effect from it?I am also on the antidepressant Paxil, but it doesn't seem to help the depression.. Thank You.. ## I too took PAxil for anxiety as a general everyday anxiety reducer. I only took the clonopin if I was having or about to have an attack as it immediately works to lessen the degree of the attack. My mothers anxiety was so bad so much of the time that she took clonopin every day for years-eventually though it will build a tolerance and not work as well. She now takes Effexor (The new one), very high dose and swears it is magic-.....I a...

Side effects in high doses like if you eat 15 of em it pretty much erases your memory for quite sometime if you drive you will be all over the road possibly roll ur truck or go in the ditch and the next day have zero memory so just take the recommended dose trust me I know ## @Jim, Overdosing on any medication can produce undesirable side effects; including the possibility of death. But why would anyone feel the need to take 15 Klonopins except for a suicide "attempt"? According to Walgreens, brand name Klonopin comes in dosage forms ranging from 0.125mg to 2mg.... With tablets topping out at two milligrams (numbers that are considerably low relative to the milligrams listed on other types of medications), anyone using common sense should understand that these are probably very ...

About 2 years ago, my boyfriend had the brilliant idea of administering klonopin intravenously several times into his lower leg. He developed an irritation, then full blown abscesses, accompanied by numbness in his foot, ankle, parts of his leg - and they alternate with occasional tingling and sensation but mostly his foot and toes are completely numb. Is this correlated to the IV of klonopin (i do not know the dose) - and is it permanent damage or could it be reversible? The abscesses have cleared up (thanks to medical ointment) - but i fear that the nerve damage is too far gone. It depresses him to no end as he cant walk properly..... he also suffers from trigeminal neuralgia and at the time was seizing and seeking relief (his usual solution, opiates, were unavailable at that moment s...

I want to know the side effects from taking Klonopin and possible side effects? ## I was prescribed Kolonopin in 1996 after a trauma head surgery.I started having panick attacks. My father had passed away the next day and that added to it.But I had a brain wave test and it showed one side of my brain was working slower than the other side.So due to the trauma and my father I started have panick attacks. It has also a tiny bit of pain medicine in it I was told but nothing you notice. It was a long process but in 2004 I had been forgetting to take them and found wow..No panick attacks.I am fine now and do not need Kolonopin anymore. The generic name is called Clanazapam.I hope I helped you. :) ## uses for anixety (panic attacks, etc.) or epilepsy (however you spell it). ## Drs often use drugs...

Side effects from just about any medication are also known to be much more prevalent when you not only go above, but far and beyond the recommended dosage prescribed by your doctor. Even at standard doses these types of medications can cause such side effects, but perhaps not nearly as severe as it would be ...

I'm on Suboxone and am also a dialysis patient. I take Klonopin for the anxiety and my doctor wants to put me on Vivitrol, but will I still feel the effects of the Klonopin? ## According to the University of Maryland Medical Center (umm.edu / drug interaction tool) there are no drug interactions listed between Klonopin and Vivitrol. However if you plug Suboxone into the mix, then it comes up with interactions between Suboxone and Klonopin as well as interactions between Suboxone and Vivitrol; particularly the Buprenorphine in Suboxone. I don't know if your prescribing doctor is aware of this, but if you visit the University of Maryland Medical Center and use their drug interaction tool, then perhaps you can show this to you doctor for a second opinion. On a positive note: In man...
