I had panic attacks a while back and was put on xanax for them. Now they started again and I want to go back to get something for them. Two different drugs in the same family that have similar properties ## Xanax is slightly structurally different than klonopin. The main factor being that xanax has a shorter half life than klonopin. The drug gets into your system effecting you quicker and more intensely but also leaves your system more quickily than klonopin which comes on slower lasts longer and leaves the body quicker therefore making it easier to taper off of if that time does come.

My girlfriend has an assortment of emotional problems such as bipolor,ocd,borderline personality disorder and agoraphobia. Basically it has her to where she doesn't want to leave the house because she thinks people are staring and judging her. She goes to the psychitrist once a month for her meds which are resperdal, topamax,cogentin and .5mg of klonopin. I've been unable to find Klonopin (brand name) at any pharmacy. Although I've taken this medication for several years, this is the first time I've been unable to find it. I've been told the manufacturer (Roche) has it on backorder. Some say it's no longer available. I cannot take the generic as I get a serious migraine. Any mood altering meds should be tapered off slowly. Talk to your doctor to see how you should slowly adjust your dosage. Check your meds to see if they are benzodiazapines, like Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Clonazapam etc (they have different names for the brand vs the generic, so check your meds to see what types they are.) They drugs can be addictive and do cause serious withdrawal symptoms. I had seizures when I quit Xanax cold turkey. I am now on Ativan, but a low dose that I only take when I REALLY need it to help with panic attacks and panic related sleeplessness. The more you take these meds, the less they work and the more problems they cause when you stop taking them. Is this yellow R34 clonazepam any stronger than the blue 1mg clonazepam? Because i noticed that the R is on alot of Alorazepam (xanax) which might be the manufacturer but i know for a fact that the yellow 2mg xanax bars have the symbol on them and they disorient me for literally 2 days... My pc doc wrote me a script for 120 1mg alprazolam but the pharmacy says my psych doctor needs 2 approve it -but he ain't the one who wrote it.
