Is this yellow R34 clonazepam any stronger than the blue 1mg clonazepam? Because i noticed that the R is on alot of Alorazepam (xanax) which might be the manufacturer but i know for a fact that the yellow 2mg xanax bars have the symbol on them and they disorient me for literally 2 days... Jw ## I have never had any yellow bars, just white and green, all 2 mg. Can you cut blue 1mg Klonopin in half before taking it, or do you have to take the whole pill? ## Yes you can cut it in half if you only want to take half. ## Hi Harrah, As a general rule of thumb my understanding is that as long as it's not a time-released pill then it should be fine to cut it in half; despite the presence of a score line. But if you have to continue taking lesser amounts for a prolonged period of time, perhaps it would eventually be best to have your doctor prescribe tablets containing a smaller dosage, just to make life a little easier... Last night, unknown to me, my fiance took around 9 mg of my prescription klonopin. Needless to say, he passed out and slept for around 14 hours. He's now awake, lucid, normal, healthy appetite, but he's experiencing muscle weakness and bouts of sleepiness. How long will these effects last? I DO NOT want him going to work until it is out of his system, as he has a physical job. Needless to say, I'm very angry with him, and scared for his well-being. I was put on klonopin by a new med. doctor, for severe panic attacks and anxiety, that was brought on by a number of serious family problems. I have also been on 40 mg. of Celexa for 10 yrs, and 150 mg of wellbutrin for about 8 yrs. The new dr. just upped my Klonopin to I mg, 3 times a day. He totally took me off of the wellbutrin, without tapering. He cut my Celexa dosage in 1/2, and added 60 mg of Cymbalta a day THis all seems a bit extreme and scary to me.I really do not like him or feel comfortable with him. I am going to see a new med dr next week, who works with a group my therapist is affiliated with. My biggest concern is the klonapin dose being upped so much.I have only been on it for 12 days, and I do not feel that it has helped me with nightly panick attacks.It p uhh rd me to...

I started taking Klonopin 2 months ago. started on .5 mg now up to 1mg three times a day. it seems every time I see my doc he wants to up it because he's worrying about tolerance. I see him every 5-6 weeks. I don't want to be upped every few weeks. Anyone else having this issue? I didnt feel like i was going through withdrawl or anything. I feel like I could sleep all day. ## That really doesn't make any sense. While tolerance is an issue with any medication, there's no way to know when it may happen for any specific person. Is it possible to become addicted to .5 mg Klonolpin daily dose? When I say addiction, I mean actual physical withdrawal symptoms. I would think most could come off a dose this small without any serious withdrawal. ## At this low of a dose and not abusing it by taking more and more of it, someone would actually become dependent on it, rather than addicted. I've been on klonopin for a little over 20 years now. 6mgs daily. Was able to taper down to 2-4 mgs while pregnant under ob/gyn care. Even on such a lower dose, bad things occurred. I was horrid. Assaulted my husband. Told a woman she was a bad mom cuz her kids were so unruly. Was aggressive and mean. Had brain zaps. Would forget normal words. When ordering pizza, when asked what toppings I wanted on it, I told them I wanted pizza on it. I've been on this med for so long, my dr will call it in with refills. While I was pregnant, I saw a high risk dr. He told me it would take years for me to get off of this if I was even able to for being on it for so long. The closest match I've found is a round yellow pill with the imprint R over 34, which contains Clonazepam (1 mg). It is manufactured by Actavis and has a National Drug Code of 00228-3004.
