I've been on pain meds for years my doctor is gone now and I'm having trouble finding a new one to prescribe my pills ## Hello, Jenn! How are you? Due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist for pain management. But you really can't call doctors and ask them about prescribing any particular medications, because they are taught to view that as being drug seeking behavior and most will just tell you no. You need to see a new doctor, make sure they get a full copy of your medical records and proceed from there, without asking about them prescribing anything ahead of time. KNOXVILLE tn dr named dr. Sarlo on Asheville hwy ## I posted about this doctor because he doesn't take insurance and I thought the laws changed on that? I called him and it is $400.00 for you first appt and I can't remember how much after that. The weird thing is, he asked me to bring my insurance cards in and when I asked why since he doesn't take insurance he replied back in a rude way saying " it's my office I can do what I want to do!"
