I would like to know WHY the FDA has not taken the Fentanyl Patch off the market? This drug is being handed out like candy. Anyone who is not terminal or under Hospice care or in a hospital invironment should not be using this drug. Why would a person be prescribed a medication that is 80 times stronger than morphine for a backache. I do not believe patients know how powerful this medication is. The warning should be labled in RED. When are you FDA going to realize This medication is killing while relieving pain! been going to pain managment clinic in tampa florida this entire year the name brand pharmacy;s don't carry the medication so i cant use my insurance. so mom and pop pharmacies carry it but wont take insurance. Heres my problem the first prescription for 240 30mg oxycodone was $260 the next $340 the next $1,500 the next $1,300 the next $1,100 and last month he said it would be $1,300 i told him i could go down the street and get them for $900 then after debating price for 30 minutes he took $890 for 240 oxycodone 30 mg. they also only take CASH. According to the NIH (DailyMed) it inhibits stomach acid secretion and treats GERD in the short term. Possible risks may include a reduced immune system / infection because stomach acid plays a role in killing bacteria. Side effects reported less than 5% of the time include flatulence, diarrhea, headache, and abdominal pain. If I'm not mistaken the brand Somac exists in Australia (and possibly other countries). What is the pain killing strength of a norco M 355 ## Hi Debbie, Just to clarify a couple of things - M 355 is actually reported to be a 100mg Diclofenac sodium extended-release tablet, made by Mylan Pharmaceuticals. It has no apparent relation to Norco other than the fact that it can also be used for pain relief; just not nearly as strong in my opinion. In terms of "pain killing strength", drug monographs describe Diclofenac as being used to relieve mild to moderate pain, whereas Norco is described as being used to relieve moderate to severe pain. My perspective is that as Pharma companies buy up quality companies like Watson, who put the required amount of the main pain-killing ingredient in each tablet, they then put in MORE fillers and less narcotic ingredient. My back is killing me and my frined offered to give me a pain killer but forgets the name. I don't want to take anything until I know what it is. Well half of my bottom tooth on the left side in the back has broken off and the other half is still there and it is soooooo killing me. ## Um....I think you need to go to the dentist get it fixed. ## A round, white tablet with the marking E 22 contains 100mgs of Orphenadrine, which is a muscle relaxant, so it won't help with dental pain. NDC 00185-0022 Thus, I have to agree with Janice, you need to see a dentist to have this fixed, if you are in that much pain, it is most likely due to an infection, which will require a round of antibiotics to treat, then the repair or extraction of the tooth. E658 blue oblong tablet, possibly Morphine? I had 11 tablets in 8 hours and no reaction. Can they be old and out of date? ## Yes, this is the 100mgs tablet of Morphine ER, a generic for MSContin. This is a time released tablet, so only a small amount of the medication is released over a period of 12 hours. Though you may not feel an effect, you could still be killing yourself with such behaviour. It does have effects on your stomach, liver, kidneys and brain that you cannot feel. The age of the tablets can also have an effect as they do become less effective over time. This is, clearly, an outrageously dangerous amount to be taking in the short of a time period.
