have kidney failure.from ?? possibly? ## was taking naproxen ## Kidney damage, as well as damage to other organs, most notable the liver, is fairly common in anyone who uses these types of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories for long periods of time, especially if you regularly take or exceed the maximum recommended daily dose. I read on this website about an old kidney remedy that might be able to help my ankles, calf and feet swelling. Please, I don’t know what to do! The calf has black marks that my doctor thinks are clots, as my fingernail touched one after a shower and blood spurted out of it; and then after I cleaned it up, light pink fluid ran down my leg. does it cause damage to your kidneys? ## NIfedipine is a calcium channel blocker, which is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. I am not finding anything that says it causes kidney damage, but there is no way to say how it can affect any given person that takes it. Have you discussed your concerns with your doctor? If you have existing kidney damage, the dosage does have to be carefully adjusted.
