Hi. I was given a prescription for cephalexin 500mg for 3x a day after having two teeth extracted. The second day of the dose my throat felt tight and also as if there was a lump or something stuck in my throat as well as a difficulty swallowing food. I stopped taking the cephalexin and the next day the feeling went away. My dentist prescribed me amoxicillin 500mg instead. My questions are, were my symptoms with the cephalexin a type of anaphylactic shock and could I be allergic to cephalexin? My second question is, is amoxicillin similar to cephalexin and could it cause a similar reaction? I've never had a reaction to amoxicillin before but I am worried after what happened with the cephalexin. Would it be safe to take the amoxicillin as well? Thank you so much for any information y...

I have an oblong yellow pill with a line down the middle and the numbers 36 01 on it. On the reverse it looks like a cursive V. Any idea on what this is? ## Pill Image This is Acetaminophen 325mgs and Hydrocodone 10mgs, a generic for Noroc, Lortab, Vicodin or etc. ## what pharmacist Kelly's qualitest Norco 10 325 Yellow oblong in SAN DIEGO? ## YELLOW Hydrocodone 10/325 by QUALITEST - Does anyone know which pharmacies in San Diego County carry this brand ? I appreciate your feedback. I have been taking Hydrocodone for many years. Recently I have become convinced that when I get the YELLOW PILLS (e.g., by QUALITEST), I am much, much more comfortable (less anxious). I am convinced the IN-active ingredient in the white pills are missing me up. Watson no longer makes the yellow pills, th...

My pharmacy just began filling my soma RX with 446/Sun pharmaceuticals. They don't work like any other generic I've taken. I get shakey and nervous sometimes. They also don't help the muscles. I do not want to take any drug made out of the country. Has anyone else had this problem? ## I don't know where my pharmacy gets its meds, but I used generics for years with no problems. About 2 years ago, I began to have severe reactions to them, and have had to switch to the pricier real things. ## Sun 446 Soma works fine. Medicine made out of the Country is just as good as medicine made here. ## @Kel, My research leads me to believe that it's probably the inactive ingredients that are causing the problems when you switch from one manufacturer's tablet to another. The way...

How many two take at a time for adult an swhT happen if you take 3 ## Hi Kelia, From what I could gather, this light blue oblong pill is an OTC antihistamine / sleep aid containing 25mgs of Diphenhydramine hydrochloride. Ref: Discuss/light-blue-oblong-pill-263-half-circle-and-line-183407.htm I don't know what would happen if you take 3, but personally I wouldn't advise taking anything more than what the directions state on the box; unless given the O-K through your doctor. If the recommended dose doesn't suffice, it may just be a good idea to look into other forms of antihistamines or sleep aids, depending on what you're using it for...

I have pills that say wpi 3968. How can it not be a narcotic when you call it hydrocodone? Like lortab and percocet? ## This tablet is manufactured by Watson Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Chlorzoxazone, which is a muscle relaxant. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Kelly, Pill imprint WPI 39 68 has been identified as Chlorzoxazone 500 mg. Chlorzoxazone is used in the treatment of muscle spasm and belongs to the drug class skeletal muscle relaxants. It is a NON NARCOTIC AND CONTAINS NO OPIOID CLASS MEDICATION .Whomever stated it Percocet /lortab like is completely misinformed. Hope that helps clear up any misunderstanding . Regards , Kenie

are they the same doseage or is one stronger then the other & what one is stronger? ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? Since the Acetaminophen augments the action of the Hydrocodone, these are probably roughly about equivalent in efficacy. While one has a lower dose of the narcotic, the higher amount of Acetaminophen kind of makes up for it. Learn more Vicodin details here. Is there anything else I can help with? This medication does have the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Hi. I'm Kelly. I had severe head injury 23 years ago; was in coma for a month and half and had 15% permanent disability. I've always gotten very confused pretty easily but it's gotten much worse. I'm supervisor at drug store and at end of night I am to calculate and record financial information. I took $6,000 back to office and totally forgot to count it. Just left it lying on desk scattered out and I don't remember doing it. Or not doing it. It kills me to think of the morning supervisor walking into office and finding all of that. That prompted me to make an appointment w/Neurologist. I've had these feelings of zoning out; it's weird and can't explain it. So, she put me on Keppra. It is absolutely horrible. I'm taking 1500 mg a day. I've been on...

Hi, it's Kel again. I wrote earlier but now I am here with a different topic amd would like some opinions. I was recently switched (2 days ago actually) from being on Percocet 10-325 4xd to MSContin 15er & Percocet 7.5 4xd for BT. My Dr. was going to go ahead & start me at 60 mg of the MSContin and take my Percocet down. I freaked out due to just beinh another "new" drug. I habe to many chronic conditions to write but I can honestly say I am about to have 2 major surgies. And he is wanting me to get that Neuro Implant device. My question is, this is just my 3rd dose of the MSContin (morphine sulf er 15 mg) and I am truly not feeling that much of pain relief even when I take my now reduced Percocet dosage. I am on other medications as well, Klonopin being one. I think...

Can anyone tell me the difference between two oxycodone pills I have ...lst one is...round pink np /12.. and second one is k56 round pink poll ## Hello, Kelly! How are you? There is no difference, they are just manufactured by different companies, which requires that they have different markings on them. It is very common for generics to be manufactured by several different companies and your pharmacy may switch which one they stock, at any time, depending on what company was offering the cheapest price at the time they needed to restock their supply. So both of these contain 10mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, a generic for Roxicodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsi...
