any bad reaction while taking heart meds? ## Have you talked to your doctor or pharmacist about it? I am afraid that I can't really provide you with any specific answers, without knowing more details. Oxycodone is a very potent narcotic, so it may be contraindicated with some cardiac conditions and specific interactions, if any, will depend on the heart medications in question. There are far too many of them on the market for me to be able to check them all. Can you post back with more information, such as the specific cardiac condition and the medications you are taking?

Somebody told me it was peracet with no aspirin pink pill with k /56 on it any information ## Hello, Erin! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by KVK Tech and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, so it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to start working, after taking it. The FDA classifies this medicati...

What's the difference between 10mg k56 versus rp10? K56 is pink, what i usually get but today the pharmacist gave me rp10; a white pill. ## They are both listed in the FDA databases as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, they have just been manufactured by different companies. This medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. How is the new tablet working for you? Are you on any other medications? ## Sam, the active ingredient is the same in both. The pink tablets with K 56 contain 10 mg Oxycodone (NDC 10702-056), and the white tablets with RP 10 also contain both 10 mg Oxycodone (NDC 42858-002). The main difference would be the inactive ingredients, which ...

Need to order.....ASAP !!! ## @Tivomama, If you have a true legitimate need for this medication, I have to wonder what's holding you back from just going to see a doctor and obtaining a valid prescription? When you try to order meds like this from off the internet you're not guaranteed to get what you pay for anyways, kinda like taking a shot in the dark. Better to play it safe and at least get something for your pain rather than a pill with unknown ingredients (because they don't always use imprints/markings for ID'ing it) or in some cases, nothing at all (because customs got to it first and will likely send you letter in the mail or appear at your door step to confront you about the felony). I've seen it happen to several other users on here who were kind enough to...

I was taking lortab 10/500 blue with Watson 540 stamped on the pill, taking four a day. My pain has worsened. Dr changed my meds to Oxycodone 10mg it's very small (pink with k56 on the pill). What's the difference? Got me taking 1 every 4 to 6 hours and 180 a month. Is that ok? Or should I be worried? ## Hi Todd, Both of these medications are narcotics that are classified as controlled substances. Although they have similar side effects and drug interactions, they are different drugs. Oxycodone is generally considered to be more potent than Hydrocodone (although some people may find Hydrocodone to work better, due to individual differences in how people react to medications). It is also available as a single-ingredient medication or in combination with other active ingredients, ...

what is stronger, oxycodone 10mg or hydrocodone/acetaminophen10-325 mg? ## From what I could gather, oxycodone is said to be approximately 1.5 times more potent than hydrocodone. So I'd put my bet on the oxycodone being stronger than the vicodin. Although I'd also imagine that its effects on each patient will be largely influenced by individual tolerance, pain threshold, severity of the condition, and other personal factors. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Oxycodone Details I hope this helps!

I am getting this other generic oxycodone 10 mg, smaller pill and no line , it doesn't seem to work as well, anyone experience or no why and if my state isn't using PMP - can I pay cash and get my refill early - I am going out of town, I will soon have a new insurance and dr. no contracts or anything to break. Thanks. ## Hi Irbo, Because each pill is manufactured by a different company, not only is there going to be a slight variation of inactive ingredients (binders/fillers), but also if the medication is in generic form, it is permitted by the FDA to contain as much as 20% more or less of the actual active ingredient as well. This could mean that a 10mg oxycodone tablet may actually have 8mgs in it. For some people these subtle differences are the equivalent of taking somethin...

Is there a doctor out there that can prescribe these for me. I suffer from moderate to severe back pain. I had my lower intestine(complete) taken out in 2003, along with 5 hernia surgery's and do not have very good abdominal support. I also have arthritis developing on lower vertebre and up on my neck. I have hard time sleeping at night because of this. Anybody who can help? I am only 45 years old. ## Hi Gary, I may not have a doctor I can refer you to, but I can provide you with a couple links that may be of service to you in locating pain management doctors within your general area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for som...

What's a round pink k56 pill what is it ## Hello, Joey! How are you doing? Where did you find this one? The K logo is used by KVK Tech and they show this tablet as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone, a generic for Roxicodone. According to the FDA, this is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Been taking painkillers ( vicodin, lortab, lorcet ((discontinued)), and Norco for many years. Skiing, motorcycles, etc. Whe I started the Norco, I got them from cvs. Found out that the ones manufactured by Malincrodt were completely ineffective when compared to the Watson product. My Doc has me on the pink k56 oxy now. I picked them up, reluctantly, from cvs because of the insurance Discount. Only able to get coverage for 90 although I had a prescription for 120. My question is does anyone know if the ones I have (manufactured by KVK-Tech INC) are going to be a waste of time like the Malinkrodt norcos were. Is there a quality oxy 10mg manufacturer that is better than the others? Thank you ## Hi Scott, Looking at some of the related KVK Tech threads here, this manufacturer in particular ...

My doctor has me on 10mg every 4-6 hours. Is this dosage safe? I was on Norco 10mg every 4-6 prior to this and this pain reliever seems much more powerful. ## Hi DeDe, The dosing instructions for this drug are as follows: "Dosage should be adjusted according to the severity of the pain and the response of the patient. It may occasionally be necessary to exceed the usual dosage recommended below in cases of more severe pain or in those patients who have become tolerant to the analgesic effect of opioids." The "usual" adult dosage is one tablet every 4-6 hours as needed for pain; so what you're doing now is fine. It may just be that you aren't used to the strength of oxycodone and therefore may or may not feel the need to use a lower dose, equivalent to that of Nor...

k56 ## This pill contains Acetaminophen 250mgs, Aspirin 250mgs, and Caffeine 65mgs, this is an OTC product, a generic equivelent to Excedrin Migraine. ## This is a OXycodone Hydrochloride 10mg its pink and round and blank on the reverse side. ## Verwon: You are very wrong. This is not an OTC product. It is 10 mg of oxycodone, a Class II narcotic opiate. It does not contain acetominophen, aspirin or caffeine. ## A white oblong pill with Ex on it is OTC Excedrin for migraines....

I have always gotten pink 10mg k56 pills. I went to Walmart and filled my pills and they gave me white pills imprinted with 10mg RP. Are they the same? ## Yes, they have just been manufactured by different companies, the tablet with K56 on it is manufactured by KVK Tech, and the ones with the RP are manufactured by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals. When a medication is available as a generic, it is usually made by several different companies, and the one your pharmacy carries can vary, depending on who was offering the cheapest price, when they needed to restock their supply. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. I have Oxycodone Hydrochloride with the Imprint A 48 on it, I used to take the ones with K 56. What is the difference? Are they extended release? How many hours apart can you take them? ## Hello, Erin! How are you? They are the same medication, just manufactured by different companies. In this case, the one with the A 48 marking is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as being in a regular release formulation. As to your dosing schedule, you should follow your doctor's prescribing instructions as it can vary from person to person, anywhere from 6 to 8 hours. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have been taking Oxycodone 10mg NP/12, Zydus brand, for over a year. Last month the pharmacy changed to the K56, KVK tech brand, and they do not help with the pain at all. Zydus brand stops the pain and work find. The KVK don't do a thing. Can anyone tell me why? ## @BC Survivor, Just wanted to let to you know that you're not alone in thinking that that KVK Tech brand is noticeably less potent. Just have a look at some of the following discussion threads here to see what others have to say about it: Discuss/kvk-tech-oxycodone-30-mg-265090.htm Discuss/kvk-tech-oxycodone-30mg-IR-262212.htm Discuss/Kvk-Tech-Oxycodone-10mg-Inactive-Ingredients-247493.htm I for one think it has to do with them using different inactive ingredients than other manufacturers. i found a pink round pill with k56 on it is it the same as percocet? ## No, they are not the same. Percocet contains both Acetaminophen and Oxycodone. The Acetaminophen potentiates the action of the Oxycodone to help better control pain. And this tablet with the K 56 marking just contains 10mgs of Oxycodone by itself, in a regular release formulation. You can learn more Percocet details here and you can learn more Oxycodone details here. Both are narcotic opiates, so they have the potential to be habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. However, they are different, due to the addition of the Acetaminophen in the Percocet. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Which one is stronger percocet or k56 ## Stronger? If ...

Does norco 5/325 have the same ingredients as the little pink pill k56 which is oxycodone 10mg? My doctor switched me due to the strength. The k56 pills are stronger he said and i needed a weaker pill to be able to work. So he prescribed me the norco. What i'm saying here is that are they the same, but different doses? ## No, they are not the same. The Norco contains the narcotic Hydrocodone coupled with Acetaminophen.
