i want to know that the drugs like painkillers, paracetamol tablets and drugs used for common cold and cough ,are they allowed legally to be sold at general merchant store or in a grocery shop ## It depends what country you are in. There are several that use the Schedule K list and it is not identical in all of them, There are some countries where a narcotic like Codeine can be purchased over the counter and others where it is not. Most general medications, that are not considered controlled substances, such as Paracetamol can be sold over the counter in virtually any store. Where are you located?

Hi, I am 17, and I am facing some problem since 3 months. I suffer panic attacks nearly every week. I feel heavy at my chest, and suffocated in the morning when I wake up. Whenever I feel such heaviness and suffocation it makes me dizzy and unable to walk, I fall asleep unknowingly, and the chest pain is unbearable. I showed to a doctor, and he prescribed TRIKA-0.25 and PAN-D (both are said to be schedule H drug), I am taking them since last month, and the dose is to be completed now, but my problem isn't yet solved. The interval between the pains and attacks are increased but they are still there. I hope I'll get some help here.

Is hydrocodone acetaminophen 10 325, a schedule II controlled substance, under current law, 5-2-2014 ## Not under Federal Law, but it will be later on this year. Unless you live in New York State, if you do, all hydrocodone combinations meds have been a Schedule II there since February 2013. ## I live in Oregon, and have been taking Norco (schedule III), and Valium (schedule IV) for a while for back, knee, elbow, etc. pain. My doctor has me come to him monthly for the prescription. I am under the impression that schedule III and schedule IV controlled drugs can be prescribed with refills. Is that true? I just found out from my Dr that tramadol is schedule 2 only in Louisiana? I was cut back to 2 a day! Is this really true? ## Hello, Sam! How are you? Yes, that is true, it was changed to a schedule 2, but not just in Louisiana, it's changed overall for the entire U.S. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Schedule 2? No.. Schedule 4 (IV). Where do people come up with this crap information? ## Tramadol is a Schedule IV in Louisiana. I am a medical supply distributor. I need a resource that will tell me what products can and can not be sold to a Home Care Agency. Specifically we are questioning whether 250 ml NaCl (saline) can be sold to an agency for wound irrigation but other products come up periodically and we want to make sure we are handling things appropriately. ## What country are you looking for information on? Not all countries use the same drug schedules and, even with those that do, they are not identical for all of them.

Taking penicillin 3 times a day ## Hello, Lorena! How are you? The key, according to the NIH, is to keep it in your system, at a steady level, but it doesn't have to be exactly precise. Thus, there is no need to set your alarm and take one in the middle of the night. One in the morning, when you get up should be fine, then one later in the day and the other at bedtime, unless your doctor states otherwise. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

Please kindly post the Schedule K Drugs list, as per pharmacy Act 1948. ## I want to know the list of the products which comes under schedule K category. ## list of Schedule K drugs in India. ## i want list of schedule k drugs ## Unfortunately I'm not finding any specific details on lists of Schedule K drugs in India. It may be that this country (as well as many others) do not publicly post such information online. From what I understand, the U.S. is one of the few countries that regulate and control drugs in such a distinguished manner (through the FDA). The Pharmacy Act of 1948 does not appear to list any medications either. This Act only has to do with the registration of pharmacists, education regulations, inspection, renewal fees, and other things of that nature. Does anyone el...

List of Drugs included in Schedule G of Drugs & Cosmetics Act 1940 ## Finding this precise information is not easy, I can find the details of the act, but not an actual list of medications. This is the drug act for India. Schedule G's are considered to be substances, other than food, that should only be used with a doctor's supervision and approval. What time of day should I take Edarbi? ## What has your doctor advised? Edarbi is most commonly used to help treat high blood pressure and, in most cases, it's usually taken in the morning, to help control your blood pressure during the times of day you will be most active and experience the most fluctuations. However, it can cause drowsiness as a side effect, so some people prefer to take it at night. ## Hi yaw, The dosing and administration guidelines for Edarbi state the following: "Azilsartan comes as a tablet to take by mouth. It is usually taken once a day with or without food. To help you remember to take azilsartan, take it around the same time every day. Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you...

I can't believe that tramadol got bumped to schedule 4. It use to be over the counter and I took one a day and was pain free. I took them 5 days a week all summer with no withdrawals of any kind on the weekends or after 5 months of treatment. Now the doctors act like your asking for illicit drugs if you mention tramadol. Guess they made no money with an over the counter med that actually worked so they got it bumped to class 4. Aspirin is worse on the body and doesn't help pain. ## I am not sure if you are thinking of the correct medication, while it has been reclassified several times, Tramadol has never been available over the counter in the U.S. The FDA currently classifies it as an opioid and warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming, it could also cause side eff...

I am teaching a medication administration course and need a list of schedule G drugs and rthe reason they would be listed as such ## I cannot find a complete list, most of my information is for the U.S. and they do not use the same schedule for drugs. However, the schedule G drugs are those that are available strictly by prescription. This is due to the possibility of side effects and the health dangers they may present if used improperly. Some that are included in this category are amphetamines and barbituates. What country are you in? That may help me find you the proper information. ## Thanks for the reply, We are in Canada and I do realize that these are a restricted drug but I am not sure if they are narcotics or if they are special drugs that are being used almost experimentally o...
