My mother takes losartan 25 mg, but her last Rx was filled with a white round pill, with a D on one side and 572 on the other side. She said it gives her a severe headache. Could this be an Rx filling error? ## The pill with a logo and the number 572 on the opposite side does contain 25mgs of Losartan, an ARB that is commonly used to help control high blood pressure. Has her blood pressure been checked, since she started taking these tablets? egg shaped, flat, aspirin sized. scored on one side withs # 1 on one side of scoring and # 0 on the other. The opposit side of pill bears the letter L above #'s 572. This pill is blue in color. I stay in severe pain because of my knees torn out -(meniscus) left and right knee has been broken in a pie shape! My back has 3 discs out, my neck -(I can hear the crackle noise when turn my head)! I just broke my tail bone from a fall! My life is in shambles ! The ( 20mg K-57's) seem to help more than 3 0f the pink 10's ! But the ABG 30-60 morphine help if you need to stay awake because the oxy- products tend to make many people sleepy! They are best at bedtime ! But the Morphine is best during the day! Small, circular, white pill with MP 57 imprint on 1 side and no markings or score line on the other. MP suggests Mutual Pharmaceutical, but I can't find an exact match. (Please do not suggest any alternative or similar interpretations of the imprint, as this will not be helpful.)

I found half of a pill ending with 57 and is blank on the other side. It's large white and oblong. ## Knowing only part of the imprint leaves it open to several possibilities. Just to give some examples, there's a 5mg Buspirone tablet that meets this description with the marking 657. There's a generic Vicodin tablet, which contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone with the marking M357. There's a Sulfadiazine tablet with the marking E757. And that is just some of the tablets that are listed that incorporate the 57 into the end of the imprint. Where was it found?

I also tried searching a several different variations of the imprint (M 59, M 53, M 52, etc); but no luck. Odds are that it could be either manufactured outside of the U.S. or that it is an over the counter medication, as OTC meds aren't required to be listed in the drug databases. If you're able to, I would consider taking the pill over to your local pharmacy and having it analyzed by their team to see if they can come up with anything.
