Can I take Sulfameth Trimethoprim And Benadryl together?
I have many of the side effects of Sulfameth Trimethoprim. Muscle aches, loss of appetite, dizziness, nausea. After discontinueing its use can I use benadryl to help with the side effects. ## There are no potential interactions listed, between Sulfamethoxazole with Trimethoprim (Bactrim) and the Diphenhydramine in Benadryl, but you should check with your doctor or pharmacist to be certain. The Benadryl may cause some side effects of its own, such as dizziness and drowsiness and it isn't likely to help with the muscle aches.
