can this medication cause red itchy irritated eyes ? ## Hello, Richard! How are you? That would be very unusual, usually allergic reactions to it are systemic, not localized like that and the normal side effects include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Do you have any environmental allergies? Are you on any other medications? You may want to have it checked out, to be sure of what's going on.

I was born without eyebrows. Would Latisse (eyelash extender) help grow hair there? ## I do not know about Latisse, but I do know about Revitalash and it helped fill in my lashes/brows. I would think it would work for your brows as well. Not to mention, it is guarenteed so if it doesn't you can return it...FYI ## Do you have any hair in that area, or just smooth skin? Whether or not anything will help is going to depend on whether or not you have the capability to grow eyebrows. Latisse is only approved to help with eye lashes, so I am not sure if it would do anything for hair in other areas. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including itchy eyes, dry eyes, eye irritation, and eye redness. Ref: Latisse Information ## I'm not a doctor but it doesn't sound lik...

Hi I am 49 and have developed itchy red rash with small bumps on my neck and face. Has occurred only in last two weeks on both sides. I do have herpes and asthma, and take Valclovir ... But meds for those are longstanding, whilst Nexium and Ramipril are new. I also have clinically isolated syndrome and recently had leg and eye issues causing the dr to revisit ? However, an itchy rash most frequently designates an allergic reaction, which means you should consult your doctor immediately, because it could mean you are allergic to one of these medications, according to FDA reports. Other allergic reactions may include swelling and trouble breathing. How are ...

Two months in I had a bleed in the back of my eye, this is now improving very slowly, to me it is PROLIA related. I know my side effects are minor compared to other posts. What a weird drug this is to cause so much pain and distress. It will be interesting to see if in the future there will a legal action as there was with Fosomax!! BTW I am 79. ## Two days after receiving my first injection (and my last for sure) of PrIolia, I have dozens of horrid painful, itchy, burning lesions all over my body and scalp. ...

Ophthalmologist prescribed PREFRIN eye drops for red eyes nearly 20 years ago. Is it available now? My problem is allergic in nature (itchy eyes = angular conjunctivitis mild at inner angles of eyes ). Appreciate response from OLD-TIMERS. ## I have had prefrin prescribed approximately 25 years ago and I use this daily although cautioned by optomotrists that this could lead to a permanent red vessel eye condition. I do however find these drops comfortable to use and the removal of red in my eyes. I can no longer find this product and pharmacies all indicate"out of stock". I assume that the product is no longer available and perhaps I could be informed of a replacement or alternative product. Information would greatly be appreciated. ## I used to use Prefrin in the 80's & ...

I started taling xarelto 5/10/2014 after my 2nd DVT in my leg. The first DVT was in February 2013 and I was on xarelto until September of 2013. I had no major side effects. Today I woke up with a black eye. My eye was itchy the last few days and I am not sure if I rubbed it. The bruise runs from the corner of my eye, near where my eyeglasses rest and under the eye. No one hit me and I did not walk into anything. My vision is fine but my nerves are stressed. Does this sound serious? It's Sunday and so I can't talk to my Hemotologist. ## Hello, Mele! How are you doing? Have you had this checked out, yet? That sudden bruising might be the sign a dangerous level of blood thinning, so you need to be very careful. What dose do you take? Have you taken Aspirin or any other NSAIDs recen...

Can itchy, red, sore swollen eyelids be a side effect of prevastatin? ## Hello, Lori! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. swollen eyes with big red circles arounds eyes that swell, and skin rash type of symptom in that area -- very itchy, skim peels, eyes water, some face swelling as well. Like a hyper hystamine effect of some kind? dry skin ## Can this be used under eyes on very red dry and a bit itchy skin ## This is a corticosteroid that is used to treat topical skin conditions, such as allergic rashes, and hives. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including skin redness, irritation, burning, and flaking. Ella, it depends on what is causing the issue. I have these sneezing episodes so many times in a day that I can not concentrate on anything because of extreme runny nose and it is often followed up with shivering in legs and fever. Or is it a cold? ## Hello, Jack! How is your mom doing? Yes, the FDA does list those as being possible side effects of Eliquis, she may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, and easy bruising. That's not to say she may not also have a cold, though. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I just switched also 2 weeks ago and having the very same side effects. ## Thanks, Verwon. After many years of opiode use, encountering unusual side effect. Eyes swell, big red swollen circles ring eyes -- very ugly -- that skin becomes wrinkly, dry, rashy, itchy, eyes water. Feels like some type of hyper histamine attach, but no antihistimine prevents or eases consdition. Face also swells to some degree. Any thoughts? ## Hi bridget, When push comes to shove, I would definitely consider stopping those medications. Perhaps your body may just be trying to tell you that it doesn't want opioids anymore? However, the symptoms you mentioned are commonly regarded as allergic reactions to opioid medication in and of itself; whereas taking an allergy pill wouldn't do anything because you're still taking what's causing the reactions to begin with. I have been on Lovastain for three years. My eyes are itching like crazy. I itch all over at night. Has anybody else had this problem? ## Hello, Sherry! How are you? I don't see anything about the itchy eyes, but this medication is reported by the FDA as being known to cause the all over body itching. Other side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and joint/muscle aches. Are you on any other medications? If the body itching just occurs at night, it could be due to a circulation issue. I used to experience with certain blood pressure medications that I was taking.
