what is it for ## I have been on ISOSORB MONO ER 30 MGfor about 3 weeks, some days I get a all day headache, some days I dont. Why the headache? ## This medication, which is a generic for Monoket, is most commonly used to treat angina pectoris. My wife has been taking "isosorb mono er 30mg tab wes" for a couple years. The pharmacy changed the tab to "Isosorb Mono Er 30mg Tab tor". The tablets have a different appearance. Are there any concerns we should have changing to this new tablet? ## No, all that shows is that they have been manufactured by a different company, but it is the same medication, in the same dosage. How can I quit taking isosorbide mononitrate er (imdur)? ## Hello, Jim! How are you? Why do you want to stop taking it? These types of medications can potentially cause rebound effects, if you've been taking them for a long period of time and then stop suddenly, so you have to be careful, or it could put your life in danger. This pill is oblong in shape and has the #ku119 on one side.Is this the extended release tablet or is 1564 the extended release ## The tablet market KU 119 is just listed as a regular release, it is not listed in the databases with the ER that denotes it being a controlled release tablet.
