1 Topic FoundI've been a diabetic for the past 10 years. However, for the last six months I have been taking Gluconorm-PG2 twice a day. What are the side effects of this medication? Could it lead to water retention and stomach bloating? ## I am diabetic as well for the last 10 years and have been using Iscept forte tablets twice a day. Recently another doctor said that it would be better to switch to Gluconorm PG2. Has anyone else made the switch from Iscept forte to Gluconorm PG2? ## It's actually a very similar medication, but this one contains Glimepiride with the Metformin and both have been proven effective at helping to control blood sugar.
