Hi, I'm new to the forum. I am looking for direct help or guidance to procure Norco 10/325. I have been getting nowhere and my medical records only stretch back two months, so I am having difficulty getting a prescription. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. ## The biggest problem you are having may be due to the fact that you are trying to obtain a specific medication, along with questions as to why your medical records only go back 2 months. Most doctors will look at those two factors and immediately find them suspicious, as they are commonly the signs of a drug seeker. Don't you have an established regular doctor? ## I have a family practice doctor, but I have not been to her in a while. It makes sense that it would look suspicious. Do you have any other advice r...

Hi, i get the yellow norco pill with a cursive v and 3601 on the back. Is there a better brand? ## Vintage Pharmaceuticals Inc. manufactures the pill V 3601. Watson Pharmaceuticals also manufactures this drug. More specifically "Watson 358" is the same dosage as the pill you are describing. And as far as I know, the brand name Watson is among the most popular. But based on this information maybe you can ask your pharmacy/doctor for the Watson brand (Watson 358) and see if you feel a difference in effectiveness. Hope this helps! Please post back if you have any other questions or comments. ## what pharmacies use this watson or vintage kind? i got the m357 and its horrible. publix and walmart both use this..i dont wantit again ## YOU ARE SO RIGHT! Hello Hydrocodone world: My experience is this. You can not beat Name Brand scored NORCO 10/325. However, my experience is Watson is a softer compound, & works faster. Now, the other generic NORCO 10/325 (36 01) scored other side. This is made by QUAILITEST: many people say they suck, because in fact, it is a harder compound to digest/desolve, therefore not getting a good feeling, but the slight slower release makes Quailiest (NORCO) actually kill the pain more so than Watson (GENERIC) 10/325. The watson have the edge, however the Qualitiest last longer & are so dang close, only a Dog may know the difference. Personally me, & all the 4 companies that make generic NORCO can stick it. Your/My Dr. is going to request the yellow dye, I do get allergic reactions minor, but enough t...

I've found it difficult to get this across because the line being towed by pharmasists and drug companies is a disciplined one.. You might get an honest answer from an independently owned pharmacy pharmasist.. But the truth is there are in many cases huge differences in generics and brands.. Ask yourself why a brand is $150 to the gen. $4.00..?? What confuses me is why isn't the public at large more sure of this crooked racket.. I've got nerve damage and have been on Norco for years. This is a great drug to hold up as an example of the nastiness being practiced. Now you won't find wide ranging discrepancies in heart meds or blood pressure meds but you absolutely will within the opioid and benzo family of meds. If you really want the truth ask your doctor, they know.. Tha...

I have been prescribed Watson brand Norco for years. Recently I was given this same drug made by a different manufacturer (Mallinckrodt). This formulation gave me headaches, cramps, hives and I'm vomiting. Why? ## Hi Lee, Whenever you switch manufacturers of the same drug, there's almost always going to be a difference in inert ingredients (binders & fillers) that make up the composition of the pill. Some people are more sensitive (or allergic) than others to these changes and that in itself may be a culprit for possible side effects. Something else worth noting is that different binding agents can affect bioavailability, which in turn means you get more or less of the actual active ingredient, potentially bringing about an onset of withdrawal symptoms. Unfortunately, determ...

Watson385 white tablet ## This contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 500mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a narcotic analgesic that's commonly known by brand names such as Norco, Lortab and Vicodin. (NDC 0591-0385). Inactive Ingredients: - Anhydrous Lactose - Croscarmellose Sodium - Crospovidone - Magnesium Stearate - Cellulose, Microcrystalline - Povidones - Starch, Corn - Stearic Acid It may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. An additional note I'd like to add is that as of 2013, the FDA has requested that the amount of Acetaminophen in all of these combination medications be lowered to a maximum of 325mgs, due to the dangers associated with organ damage and overdose toxicity. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the ch...

To all ppl that has side effects of anxiety Xanax with your meds control that. Now the true brand of Watson Norcos are sold for 495 Prices went up and if your insurance don't pay for it they will give u generics or the pharmacy you go like CVS always gives generics ## Hello, Deb! How are you? Benzodiazepines, such as Xanax, can be habit forming, so they may not be an appropriate choice for everyone. And the price on Norco, which is a narcotic analgesic, may also vary from one area to the next, plus your pharmacy is required to provide a generic first if you are insured, that is not an option that is left up to you. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## I trying find good pharmacy I don't like CVS and Walgreen

White Watson 10/325 Norco is ineffective and did not show in my system! How did that happen??? I want my yellow Norco back. Anyone know who carries these nationally? ## Qualitest is the yellow one. The white ones do not work. ## Pharmacies vary on the generics they carry. They may carry one generic this week and not have it again for a few weeks, months or the rest of the year. You have to call right before you go and ask to speak to the Pharmacist. Ask the Pharmacist if they carry a particular generic brand. Be sure and tell the Pharmacist how many tablets your prescription is for and the mg. If you can't get this info over the phone, ask to speak to the Pharmacist Before you turn your prescription in. ## Is the (yellow 3601 V) Better then the White Watson ## @Brad, The overall con...

what pharmacys other than walgreens carry the watson brandof norco10/325 ## Hello, Joel! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of which pharmacies carry a medication from any given manufacturer that I can refer to for you. Have you tried at your other local drug stores? This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. ## HEB carries the yellow Watson brand. They worj very good. ## HEB carries the yellow Watson brand. What is HEB??I love in palm beach florida. For the last 8 years I've been filling my hydrocodone scripts there. Is the norco 10/325 176 made by Sun Pharmaceuticals stronger than the norco 10/325 Watson brand? I was taking Watson and they gave me 176. ## Hello, Debbie! How are you? While there can be differences between generic medications, as permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, what it really comes down to is what works for you. Have you tried taking this one, yet? If so, has it been helping you? The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. ## In my opinion, the Watson brand works so much better than the one imprinted with 176. I've taken both and much prefer the Watsons. ## I finally found a Norco 10/325 that works by Sun manuf. I used to take Watson brand but th...

I have been on pain management for 10 years due to severe car wreck. I have taken all of the generic brands in the past and to me the yellow watsons r the best followed by qualitest with the mallins not worth taking. So last month i go to docs get scripts and go to walgreens to get my norcs, i get my pills and notice that they were white, So i take a couple and nothing, i take two more, nothing! So im stuck with them all month and everytime i took them nothing, Watson is now Activis or whatever, All i know is that they r not watson norcos, they might have the name and numbers but they r not the real deal. So this month i went to a different pharmacy that sells the qualitest yellow norcs with the v on them. They r waay better than the white watson/activis norcs. So from now on, i will get...

personally i think, the DEA, is cracking down, i know the doctors are scared their gonna lose their license, where i live they are getting ridiculous about it! there is an epidemic, which in return is ruining it for us folks who really need the stuff to just even feel a little comfort from excrutiating pain, there is even a brand called "qualitest" for God sakes! not positive, but i believe, food and drug adm., are lowering the strength, to get american's off the drug!!!!! ## From what I've seen, Watson does have a yellow and white version of their "853" generic Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone tablets. They list the dosage as still being 325/10 in the newer white ones, however, there have been numerous complaints from patients who have tried both versions, saying tha...

Dose this medication come in Watson Bramd ? 5-325 ## Hello, Blueberries! How are you? Watson is a manufacturer, not a brand. But they do manufacture the one sold under the brand name Norco in this dosage. Is there anything else I can help with?

I've been taking Norco 10/325 for quite some time and have noticed a MAJOR difference in quality and effectiveness between manufacturers. To me the Mallinckrodt 367 are the most effective all around. Interpharm/Amneal (same company /have merged) IP110 version comes in second for me. Watson seems to be the worst with noticeably much less effectivepain relief and with me seems to act more like a sedative, knocking me out which sucks when you want to be functional/productive. Qualitest is okay but seems to be similar to the Watsons only with less sedation. Personally if the pharmacy doesn't carry Mallinckrodt or Interpharm/Amneal then I won't fill my prescription there. I know this subject has been discussed here many times before but I figure since the recent apparent formula ...

What is the difference between watson 3203 and watson 913? ## what is differance betwean watson 913 and watson 3202 ## There doesn't appear to be any different, they both contain 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, they even look very similar. However the Watson 913 is sold as their name brand Norco and the other tablet is a generic. Are there any other questions?

My opinion is they are pressed on a s***ty pill press. I believe that cartels are using hydrocodone and making narcotic products. This explains the reason they seem weaker than the Norco. It's definitely an analgesic pain medicine, but with it being made on the black market they are a little weaker with less resources; the bootleggers use fake packing to give it a brand name look, similar to how the opium and coco is inconsistent.

My cousin picked up her perscription of blue watsons oblong with 853 supposed to be 10s 10/325 hydrocodone or norco they are nothing ive ever seen i told her to take them back to the pharmacy its a discount pharmacy are they fake or real im nervous because she lives with me i do not want her getting sick or od ## If it was a legal prescription filled at a licensed pharmacy there is no chance of it being a fake. It's more than likely just a generic brand you may not have seen before. Hope this helps ease your mind. ## There is a white, oval tablet manufactured by Watson Laboratories which they list as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. I am looking for the amneal mfg brand of Norco in Indiana ## The Qualitest Norco yellow kind are by far better than the white Watson brand ## In my opinion, the best way to ensure that you get what works is to have your prescribing doctor specify the name of the manufacturer you want on the prescription itself. From what I understand, this is generally enough to make the pharmacy order whatever it is you need even if they don't have it in stock at that moment. This tactic also ensures that no matter which pharmacy you go to, you should be able to get the appropriate medication. It might even help to have your doctor write down a reason why you need to avoid certain manufacturers' products (i.e. due to various binders/fillers you're allergic or hypersensitive to, etc..). Has ...

I have been taking norco over the years from Watson. A couple of years ago my prescription changed to Tris I have realized over the last several refills the effects of relief are not constant as with the watsons, even within the own bottle some are strong some are not Walgreens said they dont carry Watson any longer. If FDA is monitoring this drug and lab works could there be such a huge significant difference in quality??? ## Hello Edawg, It's sort of complicated but I'll do my best to answer your question. There are rules that a generic must follow in order to sell a drug, one of these rules is that they have to prove to the FDA that they are able to consistently manufacture the drug within a 20% error of the brand name. This means that they need to prove that a person who adm...

Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.
