I have had two tooth extractions. The pain is killing me and I am not able to sleep well because of the pain. Which medication would be better at treating my pain? The FDA has requested that all such combination narcotic medications be changed to only contain a maximum of 325mgs of the Acetaminophen, due to the danger of liver toxicity and overdose toxicity. Some manufacturers have already begun to implement the change and they are all expected to have it completely by January of 2014. Thus, starting one of them now is likely not a good idea, anyway. Well my dr has me takin 10/325 hydrocodone but is switchin me to percoset jus wanted opinion on what was stronger ## The Oxycodone in the Percocet is stronger than the Hydrocodone in the Vicodin, and otherwise they both also contain Acetaminophen to enhance its effectiveness. 10mgs of Hydrocodone is equivalent to 6.67mgs of Oxycodone, so you will probably get better pain relief from the Percocet. Since it is also a narcotic, the side effects will be similar to what you are used to, nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and constipation. Is the generic for Percocet 10/325 also called Endocet 10/325? Is it the same strength or is hydrocodone different? This is a narcotic pain reliever, very strong and addictive. ## I wouldn't say they are "very strong", they are strong if you're not used to narcotic pain relievers, much stronger than a darvocet, tylenol 3, or even a plain vicodin 5/500, but weak compared to pain relievers such as percocet, roxycodone, morphine, dilaudid, demerol, oxycontin, fentanyl, and the many other stronger painkillers on the market. Is the watson 820 4.5/0.38/325mg stronger than the watson 843 10mg hydrocodone 325mg? ## Hello, I was able to identify the yellow pill with the WATSON 820 imprint as aspirin (325 mg) + Oxycodone hydrochloride (4.5 mg) + oxycodone terephthalate (0.38 mg). However, I haven't been able to find a match for the other pill you are describing (yellow Watson 843). I recently, had my med changed from vicodin 7.5mg 5xqd to lortab 10-500mg tablet. 5xqd question is, "Is the lortab a higher dose of medication than the vicodin. ## Lortab and Vicodin both contain Hydrocodone, a synthetic opiate or opioid, as their narcotic analgesic. As such, your dosage strength increase is only in the amount of pills you are now taking, not in the opioid ingredient. Oxycodone, used in Percocets and OxyContin, is slightly stronger . . . a 5/325 Perc is equivalent to a 7.5 Lortab. I ave been recenetly told that I have p.a.d. I hvae had stents put into my upper left thigh, but my calf and toes are in constant pain. is there any thing short of surgery.
