Which oxycodone is the strongest, that relieves the pain. I was just prescribed the U 17? ## I BEEN TAKING OXYCODONES 10/325 4 TIMES A DAY AND THERES TIMES I HAVE TO TAKE TWO. PLUS I TAKE 15 MGS MORPHINE ONE EVERY 6 HRS IT JUST DOES'NT WORK THAT WELL AFTER TAKING THEM FOR 2 YRS ## The U17 have been prescribed to me on and off for about a year. I've had a generic Percocet prescription for several years. The U17 seem to have no active ingredient in them. I go through withdrawal-like symptoms (chills, tiredness, nausea, vomiting) for about 3-5 days when this is all that my pharmacy has to give me. The difference between this pill and others is rather scary for patients that have valid reasons for the prescription. A sugar pill may be more effective. The FDA needs to look in to the ...

Is the nickname for U17 known also as a substitute for Percocets or is it's nickname known as substitute for Roxycet. Are there any variances ## They actually aren't nicknames, there are brand names and generic names. The brand name is a trade name given by the original manufacturer of a medication, and the generic name is the list of the actual ingredients. The generic name for Percocet is Oxycodone with APAP (Acetaminophen) and the generic name for Roxicet would just be Oxycodone, so yes, they are different. The tablet with the U17 marking is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of APAP (Acetaminophen), so it is a generic for Percocet. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may caus...

Please tell my husband that my white oblong pills w/ U 17 on one side which I know for a fact are substituted for Percocet 10-325 mg tablets cuz it says so on my Rx bottle are the real deal & tell me what's the difference in mine & the yellow ones my mom used to get. ## Yes, this tablet is manufactured by Aurolife Pharma and they list them as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, this is a generic for Percocet, which is a narcotic pain reliever. The yellow ones are manufactured by a different company, which is very common with generics. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?

My local CVS pharmacy has been changing and even mixing brands of my oxycodone/apap 10/325 for months now. Today they gave me yet a new brand made by Auro Pharmaceuticals with the inscription U17. Has anyone heard of these before? I know nothing about them. ## For the pill ID I can confirm that this is a tablet containingAcetaminophen 325 mg and Oxycodone 10 mg. ## I've been in pain mgmt for yrs with this med various generic subs for Percocet 10/325; this last month cvs switched to U17 (auto pharm) generic & the side effects r awful ie ears feel pressure, 24-7 dull headache & sporadic heat redness on face...I notified cvs phcy, I know a reaction when I get one as I've done nothing different from my normal diet, etc, they said there's nothing they can do; I need this ...

I JUST UPGRADED FROM 5MG OF OXYCODONE TO 10MG OF OXYCODONE (BRAND AUROBINDO). I CUT THE PILL IN HALF TO START SLOW. I DID NOT FEEL PAIN RELIEF BUT IT REALLY MADE ME SICK. I TOOK A THIRD 8 HOURS LATER AND GOT HIGH. I FEEL THAT THIS IS AN UNEVEN PRODUCT. WHAT ARE THE BINDERS IN THIS 10MG AUROBINDO OXYCODONE? IS IT REALLY 10 MG CONTENT? ## REPLYING TO MYSELF, I MEANT 1/3 OF A U17 AUROBINDO OXYCODONE 10MG. ## Hello, Paula! How are you? Aurobindo lists this tablet as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone, and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Percocet. The Acetaminophen augments the action of the Oxycodone in some people, so that might explain the problem you had with side effects. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such...

I found a white oblong pill broken in half and all I can make out is 17 at the end. Anyone have any clue what this could be?? ## Hello, Alley! How are you? No, I'm sorry, but with only a partial imprint, there are just far too many possibilities to even hazard a guess, so far. However, I'll keep looking and post back, when I have information for you. Does anyone else have an idea of what this might be? ## Very possible that what is missing is the "U" as in U 17 which is generic 10/325 Percocet/Acetominophen. ## I take Percocet 10/325, monthly. This rx I received through white oblong capsule u17 this time. Are they the same? Just as strong or stronger. Thank you I
