The first is that she may be allergic to it. Is there any rash or hives visible? The other possibility is that it is an opioid and some of them cause itching as a side effect, in some people that take them. She may need to speak to her doctor about trying a different medication for the pain. It may take a few tries to find one that doesn't cause her such a problem. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Find A veterans administration Doctor to prescribe Oxycodone

How can I find a VA doctor to prescribe oxycontin? I have chronic pain. This drug helps to relieve it, and it doesn't make me loopy. However, because there are those who abuse it, I have not been able to find a VA doctor who will prescribe it. ## I know a few veterans that go to the VA for all there primary care doctors but go to a pain management clinic because the VA is very strict on giving narcotics. They do have a pain management program at the VA but they will start you drugs like tramdol, baclofen and gabapentin and I doubt you will ever get oxycontin.
