I'm taking 500 mg naproxen and 2each apap/codiene #3 300/30 for sciatic nerve pain. I'm Still in Pain! What can I take in addition to this combination without putting myself in further health risks? (I have Tramadol, Alieve and arthritis strength Tylenol on hand) ## Hello, Frances! How are you? Are you sure that it's sciatic? Tramadol & Naproxen is not helping my extreme pain for fibromyalgia, sciatica, pinched nerves. Wondering if I should take a stronger pain medicine. Also on lyrica. tired of suffering ...soc. security disabled for 15 years. ## Because I'm not a doctor, I can't really say what you should be taking; but my opinion is that if Tramadol + Naproxen isn't working well enough for the pain, then you may want to consider asking your doctor about the possibility of switching over to another pain medication like Vicodin or Percocet.
