I have been using this drug, lighty since 1999. I've had three surgical proceedures in the last 5 yrs. This drug was perscribed in 4 of the ops. With only a couple of pills left and suffering from severe trama of Gunshot and multiple Shrapnel wounds form the Vietnam War, my injured body(mostly feet, legs and lower back) has sometimes very painful nerve and muscle aches because of the well defined arthritis per bone scan prformed this summer of 2005. I only use this drug when the pain is very severe (on a scale of 1 to 10) the pain is 15. My V.A. Doctor Perscribed 20 tabs. (this is good enough for nearly one year for my use of this drug. I have been taking contrave for 8 days, took the second dose and woke up the next day with a headache. Took my morning dose and ended up with a high fever (102) headache and just achy all over. I've been taking some Decilone Forte once a week. I just take it for the aches and pains and I feel good for 5 to 7 days. Harvoni made me feel like I had the Flu.some body aches, headaches, and insomnia. ..took vitamin c 1000mg. Good day. I am Jean. I'm 32 yo. Last month i started taking neurobion as i am experiencing a problem to my nerve especifically to my lower extremeties. But just early this month i noticed my hair especially on top that i have a patches on my head. And a week later it become two. so i stop taking neurobion as i feared that this maybe the side effect of taking rhis med. I have had severe Arthritis, for along time. I hurt in all my joints all the time badly. I also have High Bloodpressure, one hip replaced and one knee raplacement. Arthritis is in my family. I was on pristiq for four years for severe anxiety and depression due to the loss of my husband. I have finally weened myself off of this drug and it wasn't so bad. I cut the pills in 1/2 and took it with breakfast for a week. I also took Natural Rhodiola supplements at the same time for any anxiety. After a week I cut down to 1/4 pill with Rhodiola and now just Rhodiola. My side affects while weening were fatigue, body aches, head aches, thirst, moodiness, dizziness, difficulty focussing and horrible dreams. Good day to all. I went to the hospital a few weeks ago with weird chest pains. Nothing was found even through stress test. One thing the did find is triglycerides were at 500 should be 150. They put me on fenofibrite I think this is how you spell it. But after 24 days my body aches all the time even when I take a pain pill. Also I am feeling so worn out. I have been experiencing joint and muscle aches. Also a loss of memory and totally can't smell. Also things don't taste as good. I am on neurontin as well. I am on my 6th day of Pristiq 50mg. and I am starting to feel like my old self. Still tired off and on. The first 4 day were hell. I felt awful. I felt nauseous, had a reoccurring small headache. My legs were achy and couldn't sleep. I finally took 1/2 of a Ativan (2.5mg) and that helped a lot. Each day gets better, so maybe there is hope yet. I hope so. Other antidepressants haven't done anything but make me lethargic. ## Hello, Andy Girl! How are you doing now that a few weeks have passed? I really hope the Pristiq works well for you, many people have had good results with it. The nausea, headache, aches and insomnia are all normal side effects, when you first start taking it.

for tension headaches, tylenol does not help and aspiringives me a tummy ache ## Have you considered trying any Essential Oils (such as Peppermint or Lavender) for tension headaches? These types of oils are pretty light on the budget, but can work wonders and usually don't come with any of the strange side effects you get from OTC and Rx Meds. Ginseng may also be a really good alternative for tension headaches. I would suggest doing some research on it if you're open to the idea. I hope this helps!
