I have Type 2 diabetes and at the moment have been put on to a course of SERC to try and help with vertigo which i have had for 5 months. When checking my blood sugar instead of a reading of about 7--- I am getting readings of 9.6. Is this caused by the SERC (betahistine). Is this the reason for the high blood sugar readings ## Hello, Maurice! How are you? It is possible, some medications can elevate blood sugar levels. Have you had this checked out, yet? It might not be the right medication for you, or the dosages of your diabetes medications may need to be adjusted to compensate.

is 4211 v the same as soma ## Even though both medications are noted to be a central muscle relaxant used to treat skeletal muscle spasms, 4211 V (Methocarbamol) is not the same as Soma (Carisoprodol). They both have a completely different chemical structure. I suppose if you had to choose between the two medications it would be a difference of side effects, inactive ingredients that you may or may not be allergic to, and personal preference on how each one makes you feel (maybe one is more effective than the other for certain individuals). You can view more information about these drugs in the two links below: Please post back if you have any other general questions or concerns about these drugs.

I have hydrocodone 5 mg-acetaminophen 325 mg tablets which my doctor prescribed me due to back aches I was just wondering if it mater if the pills had any specks or not? does it make a difference in the pill because the ones I have seem to not be working for my pain? ## @Moses, Do you know what the color or imprint is on that pill you have? If you could post back here with any of those details I may be able to find a few images online that depict how they're really supposed to look. And if there are any specks to be found, I would actually think that it's quite normal for each tablet to have a differentiating amount of these specks on their surface. That's just how some batches turn out; at least from what I've heard anyways. Were you given a different manufacturer's...

I have a yellow pill that says TEVA on it, but I don't know what the numbers are. Could it be a 5mg klonopin? ## Hello, Katie! How are you? No, there is no 5mg dosage available on the U.S. market. However, Teva does make a yellow one that is a 0.5mg dosage. The numbers should be 832. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Is there anything else I can help with? ## No, yellow Teva is only .5 mg, AKA HALF OF ONE milligram. There is no such thing as a Klonopin pill higher than 2 mg. ## There are in fact no higher doses than 2 mg klonopin on the US market, but there are higher doses in foreign markets. I have seen all the way up to 10 mg klonopin. ## So the teva 832 ye...

I need to know if there is a brand name Methadone veris generic. I have been told that it is all the same. PLEASE HELP ## What that means is that the active ingredient in the tablets, in this case Methadone, is the same in all of them! It doesn't differ between the generic and the name brand. The name brand for Methadone would be Dolophine. Do you have any other questions? ## Yes, in Alberta it's called Metadol , Blue Cross pays hundreds every month , I pay $25.00 a month for 3 x a day of 25 mg pills. I couldn't afford it without Blue Cross.

10/325 on one side and m325 on the other. How can I tell if it is real? ## Hello, Lou! How are you? If you received it from a legitimate licensed U.S. pharmacy, then there is no need to worry. My Humana insurance will not approve Savella for me. My neurologist sent in a special request for it and it was still denied. I was taking samples that my Dr. was giving to me but that has run out. Is there a generic for this medication yet or another medication with the same ingredients? ## I am using Savella, with good results. I had to try 3 other medications first (no relief). That is a hoop insurance companies expect you to go through. One of those other, less expensive meds ,may help you, your insurance company is hoping. Don't give up. Your insurance company can tell you and your doctor, which meds you need to try, to fulfill this requirement! ## My insurance (Wellmark Alliance Select) will not pay for Savella either regardless of letters my Dr has sent. They want me to take ...
