I'm 20 years old.. My skin is very damaged from the sun, tanning beds, acne, and maybe harsh products.. My skin was pretty perfect up until I had my baby. Even throughout my pregnancy I had very nice skin.. I used tanning beds a few weeks after having a bang and it like destroyed my skin.. I never had blotchy uneven red skin until then.. (Sun spots, redness, easily sun burnt, thinner skin, blotchy, acne marks) It's almost a year later and my skin isn't any better.. Why did this happen, what can i do?? ## I have been using Persivate for a long time and my skin is damaged. Please help me.

I've got Trush nd I've been taking Eryko 250 for about 3months now but the infection doesn't want 2 go away, one of my worries is that I'm pregnant is my baby and I have liver damage since Eryko damages the Liver #sad# ## Eryko contains the active ingredient Erythromycin, it is an antibiotic and is not effective at treating Thrush. Learn more Erythromycin details here. You may actually be worsening the Thrush by taking it, because regular antibiotics can cause these types of yeast infections. That's probably why it hasn't gone away. Learn more Thrush details here. Can I take this medications during the first trimester of my pregnancy? ## As of 2 days ago, I was diagnosed with hypertension and prescribed Lisinopril. To be on the safe side, I would talk to my doctor about alternatives during pregnancy. Good luck! ## NO!!!!!!! YOU CON NOT TAKE LISINOPRIL DURING PREGANCY BECAUSE IT IS AN ACE INHIBITOR IN OTHERS WORDS IT CAN DAMAGE YOUR BABY MAIN ORGANS AT THAT TIME YOU BECOME PREGANT YOUR DOCTOR SHOULD PUT YOU ON METHYLDOPA 250MG ## There are consequences to taking any drug during pregnancy, even 'over the counter' drugs, and even ones like Tylenol, that your doctor might call 'safe' dur...

Tell whoever is taking it to STOP...or face heartache for yourself AND the Baby! ## I took lortab 5/500 during my whole pregnancy with the supervision of my og/gyn for chronic back pain. Baby born with many problems and hospital has induced a coma state with fentanyl. What other complications ca occur besides dependence? And is the addiction forever to the child? ## While it is generally safe, under a controlled medical setting, there is a rare chance that some complications can occur, such as permanent damage to the liver or kidneys. And no, the addiction would not be a permanent condition and the doctors will be able to taper the medication to prevent the worst of any possible withdrawal symptoms.

Hello... I have taken one nimesulide tablet in combination with diclofenac at my 20 th day of pregnancy... Will it cause any side effects or birth defects to the baby... Please advise.. ## Hello, Vinothini! How are you? It isn't likely that there will be damage from just taking them once, but it would be best to inform your doctor, so they can watch for any potential problems. The U.S. FDA also warns of the risk of bleeding, which could be an issue, when you go into labor. Is there anything else I can help with?

I got the tablets for an infection and I'm pregnant. Will it have any effects? ## Eryko contains the active ingredient Erythromycin, it is an antibiotic that is used to treat various types of infections. And no, in the U.S. the FDA has found it to cause Hepatoxicity (liver damage) in pregnant women. While it is reversible, when the medication is discontinued, it can endanger both the mother and baby, so they have not approved it for use during pregnancy. I suggest you contact your doctor about why they prescribed this one and ask them about using an alternative medication. Is there anything else I can help with? ## I am 39 weeks pregnant and a hospital doctor gave me Anaerobyl 200 and Eryko 250 to use for a urinal/vaginal tract infection. Will it harm my baby? Ok, This tylenol-cod #4 is not very strong...I take Ibuprophen 800 mg for fibromyalgia/arthritis..Waiting for the Docs to figure that one out?? Anyway, the Doc said only one every 6 hrs....HAH...was like taking baby aspirin for a broken leg....Should I take two just to see if It could work doubled or just get a stronger Med.?? ## Interestingly enough, the dosing instructions for Tylenol-Codeine #4 state the following: "Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take more of this medication than is recommended. An overdose of acetaminophen can damage your liver or cause death. Tell your doctor if the medicine seems to stop working as well in relieving your pain." Lately there have been a lot of concerns about liver toxicity upon taking too much acetaminophen. Is Acetaminophen like a Percocet? I'm not too fond of Percocets, as I was given them after I had my baby. ## Hi Nicki, Acetaminophen is NOT the same thing as Percocet. It can sometimes be confusing because Acetaminophen is one of the active ingredients in Percocet (the other being Oxycodone which is a strong narcotic drug in the opioid class). However, on its own, Acetaminophen is a readily available over the counter pain reliever (it is not a narcotic like Oxycodone in Percocet), so you should not expect to have any of the unpleasant side effects associated with a drug like Percocet. It is important to follow the instructions on the label because too much Acetaminophen can cause liver damage. One brand name that you would be familiar with that contains Acetaminophen as the only act...

I have taken Flunil 20mg for the last ten years. What are the long term effects of taking this medication? ## Flunil contains the active ingredient Fluoxetine, it is an SSRI antidepressant. i was on 100 mg if that a day of tramadol and up to a xanex a night i found out i 4 weeks pregnant and just stopped will the baby be ok ## Hi, Ashley! How are you? Congrats on the pregnancy! On this, you really need to talk to your doctor, when you're pregnant it can be hard to know what may have an effect or what might not. However, both of these medications have been known to cause fetal risk, so that makes it even more urgent that you discuss it with your doctor. In many cases, very early on, the damage may not be significant or permanent, but only your doctor can check and let you know for sure. Learn more Tramadol details here. Learn more Xanax details here. Do you already have an OB Gyn? ## Yes thank you. I think i am going to be ok. No egave me a real answer so i just stopped...

I had my first shot in November, My back ached nothing major. That went away but I have severe muscle pain in my arm where the shot was given. I can barely lift my grand baby. I called my arthritic doc and he said oh he has not seen anyone with that complaint. I went to my primary doc who wanted me to go to PT . I said why are you sending me to PT when I am telling you I did nothing to cause damage to my arm except have this shot. I gave the wrong dosage of the hidrasec racedotril to my 11 month old baby. I wonder what are the side effects of taking overdosage of of this medicine. ## First off, I would like to state that in the future, if you feel you have a medical emergency, please do not post on a free website and ask for guidance. Overdosage could place your child's life in danger and you should contact your doctor, a poison control center or your nearest emergency care provider immediately. That said, an overdose of anything could cause organ damage or even be fatal. This medication is normally used to treat diarr...

can I use neomycin-polymyxin in an month old? ## Hello, Linda! How are you? When it comes to a child that young, you shouldn't give them anything, without their doctor's approval. If it has been prescribed for them, please follow the provided dosing instructions. The FDA lists the typical side effects of these drops as possibly including ear redness, irritation and the ear feeling clogged.
