I recieved a prescription for Pantoprazole Sodium DR 40mg. But my pill looks completely different from what I've had in the past and is different from the descriptions I can find on what it should look like. I have a white, oval tablet with "97" imprinted on one side. The imprints vary between red or black in the same bottle. What do I have in my hands? Any help is appreciated. ## How did you look for it, did you just do a search for what Pantroprazole should look like, or did you search for that imprint? The imprint is what enables a pill to be identified. If you just search for examples of what it should look like, you'll not likely have much luck, since this is a generic medication and most sites don't list all possible options. It is the correct medication, this ...

Can I take pan 40 or pan d during pregnancy? Please advice me. ## There are no studies showing the Pantoprazole is known to be dangerous, during pregnancy, but the NIH does advise that it only be taken by a pregnant woman if no other options work, or if other options are not available. The same applies to the Domperidone in Pan D, it should only be taken if your doctor feels that the benefits to you will outweigh any possible risk. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, stomach pain, flatulence, and diarrhea. Are you on any other medications?

What is the difference between pan 40 and pantosec dsr 40? My mother had an elbow fracture followed by surgery. She is on diabetic and blood pressure meds. The doctor also prescribed pan 40, but the med store gave her pantosec dsr 40. Are they the same? ## Pantosec D SR combing Pantoprazole with Domperidone and the SR designates it as being a time released formulation, so no, it is not actually the same. It would be best to check with her doctor to see if it is safe for her to take. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, stomach pain, and flatulence. What My doctor has given me Vibryd 40 mg for anxiety 5 years ago. My anxiety level increased so she changed to trintellix 20 mg. I acutely stopped Taking vibryd and started taking trintellix. If I was to forget to take a vibryd I would have a severe itch all over especially on my face and head. I am having this same problem. Is this a withdrawal from vibryd? It has been 1 week since the change intreatment. ## These are both medications that are used to treat depression, anxiety, and panic attacks. I've been prescribed pantoprazole 40mg for recurring gastritis and while I find they are wonderful at removing the gas, hunger pangs and nausea I am still experiencing the upper abdominal gnawing pain in my stomach (albeit to a lesser degree than before, but it is still present everyday). I have no weight nor blood loss and am otherwise healthy. Do I need medication changed or could something else be going on? Thank you ## Well, I myself have a lot of experience in this area, I suffered from it for years and was misdiagnosed quite a few times, until the fact that it was gastritis was actually stumbled upon by an intelligent ER doctor. Anyway, the PPI medications can actually cause that type of pain as a side effect, so that actually may be what's causing it. The same thing happe...
