Can someone please tell me if one of the 5mg oxycodones without Tylenol is equal to a percocet 10mg? Is it stronger or weaker and would it only take one to equal the equivalent of a perk 10 or 2 of the oxycodone 5mg ## Hi Julie, To answer your question, 5mgs of Oxycodone quite simply does NOT equate to 10mgs of Oxycodone + 325mgs of Tylenol found in Percocet. Usually when people abbreviate the term "perk 10" this means that it contains 10mgs of Oxycodone and nothing less. I got my prescription filled and when I got home from the pharmacy in the bottle I had the white IP 206 Oxycodone instead of my normal Percocet 10 yellow pill. I ran out of oxycodone will Percocet replace the oxycodone ## Hi Barbara, The Percocet will not be identical to Oxycodone, because it also contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen as well. More over, a closer comparison would also depend on what dose of Oxycodone you were taking, since the maximum amount of Oxycodone that they put in Percocet is 10mgs. Are you getting Percocet from the same doctor who wrote your script for Oxycodone? If so, he/she should be able to help you determine what amount you should be taking in order to provide adequate pain relief. I hope this helps!

I've been taking 15mg of Percocet with Tylenol in them for a year. My dr just gave me a 20mg dose without the Tylenol, but it doesn't seem to be working as well. Hello all, First off I'm new to posting here and I must admit this is probably a topic that is quite frequent and I have done days searching but can't seem to really find any info on my specific situation.
