Is Oxycodone 30mg Strong

Was on 360 30mg Oxycodones a month for 5 years. Doctor has now switched me to 240 30mg Oxycodone and 25mcg Fentanyl patches. I seem to be hurting worse since going on the patches. i have new pesription and my dr. wants me to try opana 10mg. is this drug stonger and how much stonger than my last drug oxycodone 30mg.. ## The Oxymorphone in Opana is stronger than Oxycodone, but you aren't on an equivalent dose, it would take 15mgs of it to equal each 30mg dose of the Oxycodone. I'm a chronic pain patient who is wheelchair-bound due to the pain after a gunshot and I have just been increased from 20mg of Oxycodone. I was taking the NP 14 20mg and was increased to the 30mg Oxycodones; so what color of the 30mg's Oxycodones are the strongest or what number or imprint is the strongest? I was issued the 30mg Oxycodone with 30 on one side and RP on the other which is not helping as I thought it was, therefore I would like some information on what pill would be more beneficial for pain relief... I was taking 30mg oxycodone and the doctor switched to 15 mg Morphine ER and 15mg oxycodone and the pain is the worst it's been in the last 8 months. Am i going crazy or is it possible that the morphine does nothing for me. And if so I can't see the doctor for another 7 days ## 15mg er morphine is the least amount available in the er class of pain meds, er stands for extended release, this means that basically you are receiving 15 mg per 6 hrs, over a 12 hr period. and obviously you receive half of the dose you were getting with oxycodone. long story short, you Dr.isn't doing you any favors, only reducing your pain meds and increasing your pain!, 15 mg er morph doesn't do much at all! ## Morphine when taken by mouth is super weak. Hello, I was just prescribed by my pain doctor oxycodone 30 mg imm rel tab I get 90 pills every 2 weeks cause I have bulging disc in my neck C3-C6. This is my 5th different med I have taken I have been switched so many times trying to find something stronger that will relieve my pain. I have had 3 different neck procedures going on my 4th procedure in 2 weeks. I was taking activis 30mg IR for a long time. It worked really well on pain with minimal narcotic effect. Now they only have KVK brand oxycodone. This is by far the worst medication for pain I have ever had. It has a strong long lasting narcotic effect with no pain relief at all. I'm taking it back to my Dr and getting a new perscription. I was on 5 30mg of oxycodone ir after doing some reading after you have more than 120mg in your system the rest is not helping you it's just loading your system up and your asking for long term problems my dr. Has since put me on 3 30mg oxycodone and one 30mg morphine extended release for nighttime and that seems to be the magic for me, it helps the hard pain during the day and at night lets your system calm down when I'm sleeping. ## even though oxycodone is 1.5 x stronger than morphine, if you take an equivalent dose of mophine sulfate (90 m. vs. 60 oxy), will you still develop the same tolerance/addiction/dependency from the morphine as from the oxycodone? ## Great Gw! I wonder what the difference is between 15MG MS Contin vs 15 Mg Oxycodone. Is there a substitute for MS Morphine..I take 2 30mg MS Contin twice a day and also with that I take 15MG MS Contin twice per day..which of course is 45mgs at a time..with 3 15mg Oxcodone for breakthru pain.
