Percocet contains a combination of Oxycodone and Acetaminophen and it is only available with a maximum of 10mgs of the Oxycodone, there is no 30mg dosage of it available. I understand oxycodone is 1.5x stronger than morphine, but does that take the oral bioavailability into account? I've seen someone say 20mg of oxycodone is equivalent to 30mg of morphine, but is that taking into account that only 30% of the morphine is absorbed by the body whereas with oxycodone it's about 80% So when taking 30mg of morphine you're body is really only getting about 9mg but when taking 20mg of oxycodone you're getting 16mg of it absorbed into your body. Hello, I have an appointment coming up with PM Dr in a week. I am currently taking the morphine ER, 30mg twice daily, along with 4 10mg oxycodone per day as needed. .my questions are..is hydromorphone ER better vs the morphine ER in terms of pain control and how long it lasts in the body? If so, it is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. In this case, you have the conversion backwards, because Oxycodone is stronger than Hydrocodone. Taking 30mgs of it would be equal to taking 45mgs of Hydrocodone. Thus, it just takes one of these tablets to equal one a half Vicodin 10/325.
