Is Oxycodone 10 Mg Stronger Than 10mg Hydrocodone

I have been on Norco 10/325 for 7 years for chronic pain and disc problems. Needless to say they quit working. Dr just switched me to Percocet 10. The only way to get a higher dosage than that is if your doctor specially orders it and it is put together for you by a compounding pharmacy. Hydrocodone is a potent narcotic and is rarely given in higher doses. So I'd put my bet on the oxycodone being stronger than the vicodin. Although I'd also imagine that its effects on each patient will be largely influenced by individual tolerance, pain threshold, severity of the condition, and other personal factors.
