anaproxen
information ## Is Anaproxen and Naproxen cousins? Are they the same?? ## The active ingredient in Anaprox is Naproxen, so they are the same. Was this prescribed for you? ## Can the Anaproxen capsule be addictive? is it possible that it becomes an addiction? ## It is not as addicting as something such as a narcotic, but our bodies can become dependent on anything that we use regularly for a long period of time and if we stop taking it abruptly, we will experience withdrawal symptoms. ## withdrawal symptons? i'm 17 years old. i think i've become dependant on it. with every little pain, i need to take one, but it's a need even if the pain is little, and when i say little, i mean tiny. Or sometimes, i feel like my mind creates..pains..phsycological.. and i end up taking them. I ... ...

Mova 500 - naproxen
I found this pill in my kids room...just wondering do people use this as a drug for getting high..? Please let me know ## I heard that some people have used it to feel a high ... just wondering..I'm worried and am hoping my kid is not hooked on them.. ## Naproxen will not get someone high, it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. It is commonly sold over the counter in a lower dosage as Aleve or generic or store brands. This is, however, a prescription strength tablet, so your child should not have it. It is illegal to have this without a valid prescription. The other operative question you may want to look into is what your child thinks it is, do they think it is something they can get high off of, like a narcotic? Have they been taking other medications that they shouldn't be? ... ...

is naproxen stronger then vicodin
I'm researching pain meds for my knee pain after a replacement. ## Naproxen is an nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Naproxen is the generic name for Aleve, The difference is that Aleve is OTC because it is only 220 mg and Naproxen is prescription because it is 500 mg. Vicodin is a combination of hydrocodone and tylenol. Hydrocodone is a narcotic and can be addicting. You must have a prescription to get Vicodin. ## @original post, No, Naproxen is not stronger than Vicodin. Although it could probably compare to the acetaminophen in Vicodin, the hydrocodone is still a far more potent pain reliever in and of itself. If you're unsure of which medication to take for pain relief, I think it would be wise to ask your doctor/surgeon for their opinion on what might be most appropriate for y... ...

Opana 15mg Er And Naproxen Sodium Midol
can you take opana and Naproxen sodium together. the naproxen sodium is in midol ## Opana contains the active ingredient Oxymorphone and there aren't any interactions listed between the two that I can find, but you should check with your doctor, or pharmacist to be certain. However, you should be aware that sometimes NSAIDS, such as Naproxen can potentiate the effects of narcotics, so you may experience worse side effects, such as the dizziness and drowsiness. Are there any other questions or comments? ...

naproxen 550 mg safe to take for headache
Can i take naproxen 550mg for a headache? Know its an antinflammatory but heard works well for pain. Is it non-narcotic? ## Naproxen is not a narcotic, but it can be used for headaches. The reason why anti-inflammatory drugs work so well for pain, is because pain is caused by (or is a direct result of) inflammation. Learn More: Naproxen Details I hope this helps to answer your questions! ## Yes, you can take it for headaches. I get really bad headaches and I take one Naproxen and two IP it takes about 10 min and then my headache is gone. ...

oxycod apap 5 325 mg or naproxen 500 mg which is better for neck pain
oxycod apap 5 325 mg or naproxen 500 mg which is better for neck pain and back pain ## These are two very different medications, which treat pain in different ways. The Oxycodone with Acetaminophen is a generic for Percocet, it is a narcotic (opiate) analgesic. Thus it does carry the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. Learn more Percocet details here. But the Naproxen is just a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Learn more Naproxen details here. Which one has your doctor advised you to take? ...

Diference Betwen Naproxeno Sodium 550 mg And Percocet
wha is the diference between naproxeno sodium 550mg and percocet ## The primary difference notable between these two medications is that Percocet contains a narcotic pain reliever in addition to Acetaminophen. Naproxen is just Naproxen, without anything else. To put this into perspective, Naproxen in and of itself is not nearly as potent as Oxycodone, let alone the combination of Acetaminophen + Oxycodone (Percocet). I believe choosing one over the other all depends on what your pain management needs are and whether or not Naproxen on its own can meet those requirements. Learn More: Acetaminophen + Oxycodone Details Naproxen Details I hope this helps! ...

Is this a oxycodone/percocet 5/325
Someone gave me this pill and said it is a oxycodone/percocet 5/325. I have never seen this before and someone else told me that it could be a naproxin can someone tell me what this pill is??? It looks like: On one side it says MOVA, other side it has 500 M50. It is either a pink color or a peach looking color. It is a oval or oblong shape. ## Mova 500 M50 is actually Naproxen 500 mg. It is an anti-inflammatory and pain reliever, but is not a narcotic like Oxycodone. Related Discussion Thread: <a href= Do you have any other questions or information to add? i have a white pill with 500 on one side and ip190 on the other side, does this pill have hydrocodone in it and if so what dosage ## No, there is no Hydrocodone in this tablet, nor does it contain any other narcotics. This tablet contains 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Learn more: Naproxen Details Is there anything else I can help with? ## If u take enuff they will f*** u up ## Naproxen and tramadol are they the same thing ## Absolutely not ## how many can i take before it affects me in a bad way? ## Pills are a lot like alcohol in the sense that its a slow & PROGRESSIVE toll it WILL take on your body more specifically your liver. Is There An Over The Counter med compareable toVicoden
I am currently taking vicoden for knee replacement surgery...is there any OTC pain med to take that would be similar? Thank you! ## Not in the U.S. Vicodin contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. The Hydrocodone is a narcotic analgesic and there are none available over the counter in the U.S. The strongest medications for pain that are available over the counter in the U.S. are the basic nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories, such as Ibuprofen and Naproxen. Have you tried discussing it with your doctor? ...

ALL PILLS
LOOKING FOR A PAIN PILL THAT NOT NARCOTIC ## Hi dina, Most non-narcotic pain pills can be found over-the-counter at your local pharmacy. Aspirin, Acetaminophen, and Naproxen are probably three of the most common ones. There are also quite a few natural remedies for pain relief that may be just as effective as some prescription medications, minus the dangerous side effects. You may want to do more research in this field if you have an interest in herbs. I hope this helps! ...

mova 250 m25
round pink mova 250 m25 pill ## This is Naproxen Sodium 250mgs, a generic prescription strength Naprosyn. This is just a little stronger than what you would get if you bought a bottle of Aleve over the counter. ## What is mova 250 m25 prescribed for? ## Well it is basically a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, like I said in the above post, it is Naproxen Sodium, so it is prescribed to treat mild pain and inflammation. Like I said, nonsteroidal, so it doesn't react with as many meds, or have as many side effects as steroids do, and since it is non-narcotic, it is also safer when someone just has mild pain for some reason, and their problems don't warrant heavy pain meds. I am going to post the link to the monograph for Naproxen so you can read some more details! Naproxen Further In... ...

IP188 Naproxel
What happens if your not prescribed this pill but it was giving to you by someone who has a prescription? Are there any side effects if your not in pain? Is it alright to take this kind of pain medication? Is it a narcotic? Can someone become addicted to Naproxen? Is it highly addictive like Oxycotin and Vicodine? Thank you and sorry for asking too many questions. ## Hi Alice, Not to worry, Naproxen is a widely used OTC/Rx medication and is generally regarded as safe for most individuals; which is why it's so readily available to the public. It's certainly not a narcotic, nor is it considered to be addictive at all. However, just about every pharmaceutical medication carries the risk of side effects (there's really no way around that). And although some people have also repo... ...

pain medication ?
537 on one side&93on other white in color oval in shape ## To avoid confusion, I have removed the incorrect answer. This is NOT ANY TYPE OF NARCOTIC. Nor does any pill in particular come from any one pharmacy chain. It just doesn't work that way. This pill is actually nothing more than Naproxen Sodium 550mgs, a generic for Naprosyn, it is a prescription strength of the same stuff you buy over the counter in Aleve in a lower dose. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. ...

light grey oval r599
light grey oval r599 ## I need to know what this pill is. It has one letter and 3 numbers. R599. Thank you VERY much :) ## This is a 400mg Lodine. It is a non-narcotic anti-inflammatory drug used for pain. It it like a prescription strength Aleve, IBProphen, Naproxen, etc. It is most commonly prescribed to patients with osteoarthritis, bone spurs, and people who have had orthopedic surgery. i.e. Back surgery, hip replacements, knee replacements, or any broken bones that have to be pinned and/or plated. It is an NSAID pain reliever, but again a non-narcotic anti-inflammatory drug. The grey coating is a time release coating, so therefore the pill should not be cut or crushed. ...

white, oblong, one side says 537 and the other says 93 ## Sounds quite a bit like the generic brand Vicodin I was prescribed for dental work. ## Nope, this is NOT a narcotic of any kind. Pill Image Click Here This is nothing more than the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory Naproxen Sodium, 550mgs, so a prescription strength of it, but it is the same active med that you get in a lower dose in Aleve over the counter. There aren't any proprietary guidelines in the pharmaceutical industry regarding the shape, color, size, or etc. of pills. pain medicine in sioux falls, sd
I am looking for a doctor in sioux falls, sd that's not "afraid" to prescribe narcotic pain meds. I've had severe back pain for years, have been through chiropractors, physical therapy, injections, nothing helped. I feel like I just had to learn to live with the pain. Since having 2 kids, the pain has increased immensely, but my current Doc will not give me anything that helps. I have tried meloxicam, gabepentin, tramadol (which I found I was allergic to, though it did help slightly), and feel I am about to overdose on naproxen and tylenol, because they are all I have access to and though they don't help, I keep hoping they may if I take enough. I need something to help me function normally so that I can be a good mother. I hate just dealing with the pain. Thanks in adv ...
