I was taking 60mg of morphine sulfate from Rhodes. The pharmacy said they didn't come in and gave me the Actavis brand instead. They do not work for my pain at all and give me horrible stomach pains! The pharmacist brushed me off, saying they all have the same ingredients! I can't find a picture of it on the internet....it's round, tan, with a 311 on one side & a half moon on the other side. Any help would be appreciated! ## Hello, well this is the first time I have seen these pills too, normally i do not take morphine, unless oxycodone cannot be prescribed. I wouldn't get the 311 orange/blue moon 60 mg morphine. I normally take 30-40 mgs of oxycodone, And with these new pills that we just mentioned, I need to take multiple doses for pain relief. ## Yes, this is list...

i had pills from when my mother had cancer in 2006. can i use these same pills for pain now ## Hi, Linda! Sorry that you're in pain. However, the best thing to do would be to see your doctor to get an appropriate diagnosis and discuss your treatment options. These tablets have an expiration date of one year from when they were dispensed, which means they expired back in 2007. After that they begin to lose effectiveness, which means that after so many years, they are most likely worthless. Are there any other questions or concerns?

i have been taking 60mg.morphine sulfate with little relief i just started on methadone hcl 10mg. & found them to be stronger & more effective my wife just believes that it is the change but i am convinced the methadone is stronger who is right? ## It would take 15mgs of Methadone to equal each 60mgs dose of the Morphine, so I'd have to give the win to your wife. However, there is a caveat, it may not be just because of the change to a different medication, it could be due to the fact that the Methadone may just work better for you. Learn more Methadone details here. Sometimes the equivalency or one being stronger doesn't matter, if one just works better with your body. Everyone is different and this happens quite frequently. Are there any other questions I can help with...

I find it is much more effective when I take it in other forms than a tablet. ## Or you could get too much of the medication at once and overdose yourself on it. As to a tablet marked P 60, I still cannot find any identification as of writing this. Did you say it's morphine? What country was it found in? ## I may be so used to taking opiates by mouth for a myriad of diseases including scoliosis, resulting in horrible pains that travel around my body. For the first year (I got adult scoliosis at age 62. I was taking 130 mgs of methadone, which is the amount I got to after taking it for about 18 years or so. Methadone has a good side to it that I do not experience with the morphine that they now insist I take instead, unless I join the "junkie" program at the VA where I would ...

Has anyone who takes name brand Adderall XR 30 mg - 2 x/day tried to take a drug holiday and if so, what are your side effects. I would like to try but I have a morphine pump at about 30 mg continuous release/day and think I might become comotose. I would really like to stop the adderall for a short time so it doesn't become less effective than it has already become and I have no idea what it can be relaced with. ## If you've been taking it for a long time, you may experience withdrawals, which the FDA lists as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fatigue, and irritability, since it can be habit forming. How are you doing? Why do you feel that it has become less effective? There are other stimulants available on the market, such as Dexedrine, and Focalin. Your doctor should be ...

My Doctor just switched my Lortab to MS Contin 60 mg, 12 hr. time release. I had been taking Lortab for 13 yrs and it was no longer effective. I am achieving pain relief with MS Contin but my entire body itches. Will this symptom go away with time? I do recall that I had itching when first using Lortab which eventually went away.
