where can I find methadone in columbus OH
Where can I find a doctor in Columbus Oh that will prescribe methadone for chronic back pain? My doctor gives me percocet but it just doesn't help. ## What other medications have you tried? And what is the dosage of the Percocet? The reason I'm asking it because Methadone should really be the last resort medication, for several reasons. The first is because there are other stronger and safer options available, such as Morphine or higher doses of Oxycodone. Learn more Morphine details here. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Another is due to the fact that Methadone is so very highly habit forming, so most people never get off of it, even if they're just using it for pain. Learn more Methadone details here. ## I take percocets 7.5. I go to a pain management clinic and that is... ...

how does dilaudid compare with oxycodone?
I am searching for information on how dilaudid compares with oxycodone ## myrin p ## white pill m on front,no.5771 ## For the first poster, Oxycodone is the strongest narcotic pain killer on the market that you can get in pill form. While Dilaudid is really a stronger medication, it is considered so dangerous that it is only available by prescription in a max of 10mgs, so for those who suffer chronic pain, the only option available in pill form to provide sufficient pain relief is Oxycodone. ## Zohaib, Myrin P is a new antimycobacterial treatment for Tuberculosis. ## Gary, M 5771 is Methadone 10mgs, generic for Dolophine. The side effects for this are similar to those of other narcotics. ## Diladuid is not that strong once you get used to it. Whoever told you you can only get a script f... ...

can i use methadone to get off of percocets?
I take about 150mgs of percocet30mgs a day and I want to know if I take methadone will it help with the withdrawl & shakes of the stopping the percocet dose every day.. I have used methadone to come off of percocets before, but it was at a way lower dose.. I know suboxtons are what is recomended but from what I'm told @ my dose methadone is stronger if I use it right ## In my honest opinion I don't think that Methadone will be of the best help, seeing as there is a possibly unsafe interaction between Methadone and the Oxycodone found in Percocet. The interaction between these two drugs states the following: "Central nervous system- and/or respiratory-depressant effects may be additively or synergistically increased in patients taking multiple drugs that cause these effec... ...

Codeine 30 Acetaminophen 300mg vs.30 mg roxycodone
Acetaminophen and codeine phosphate 300 mg / 30mg. compared to 30 mg of roxys. how do they compare in strength? thanks ## codeine is the absolute weakest opiate there is, you can't even compare 30mgs of codeine to 30mg of oxycodone, 30mgs of oxycodone its veryyyyy strong compared to codeine so be extremely careful, defenetly look a little more into this before taking anything. ## methadoneman is kind of on the right track, though they can be compared if someone knows how to do the conversions. However yes, the Oxycodone is much stronger than the Codeine. If you have been taking 30mgs of Codeine, then you'd only require 3mgs of Oxycodone to be an equivalent dosage and the issue there is that there isn't any 3mg dosage of Oxycodone available by prescription in tablet form. The... ...

having too many problems filling my msir 30mg script monthly so need to change...what dose of oxycodone is equal to that?
For approx the past six months I have had even more problems than usual filling my morphine ir 30 mg. twice there have been drug shortages. I need to change to an equivilant medication like roxicodone,or something similar. What dose of oxycodone is equal to 4 X msir 30mg per day??? I take a toal of 120 a month, in additon to taking a low dose of methadone as well. I dont want to increase the methadone so need to find something to replace the msir 30mg's. ## Morphine is one a half times stronger than Oxycodone, so you'd actually need a lower dose of the Oxycodone. 20mgs of it for each 30mgs of the Morphine. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is the... ...

Withdrawals - help from Fentanyl
I was on liquid Methadone for chronic pain for years and while on waiting list to switch to a new Pain center, I was weaning off methadone rapidly at 2mgs a day from 120 to 38mg. I was also on 20 to 40 mgs a day oxycodone for breakthrough pain. Now, last month, my new doc put me on 25mcg/h patch. Yesterday, he informed me that I am now ONLY getting pain management from him (understandable) and cut me off and did not prescribe any more oxycodone and I was to stop at 38mgs methadone. Bottom line, will a 50mcg/h patch I started today be enough for my pain and withdrawals? I am scared. ## Did you discuss your concerns with him? The Fentanyl is a very strong narcotic, over 80 times stronger than Morphine actually, but while it can handle pain very well, you may still experience some breakthr... ...

fentayl/neurontin
For various reasons I suffer from Spinal Stenosis, Herniated Disc in Cervical area of spine, also suffered a broken tailbone. I suffer from terrible nerve pain in my pelvic area, neck, down my legs and spine. My dr. has recently put me on 50mg fentayl patch. I also take Gabapintin. These still are only controling about 59% of my pain and if I do something to aggravate my injuries I sometimes get screaming pain. A friend recommended Methadone in conjunction with what I'm taking. I have taken Oxycontin, Oxycodone in high doses so my tolerance is very high. Can anyone tell me if adding Methodone to my other meds would help and if it could be risky--as far as overdosing etc..? ## I doubt that Methadone will help you, since the Fentanyl that you are already using is far stronger than Met... ...

I want to try the Butrans 20.I hate to see the cost.I paid $239.00 for the 10s ## Hello, Dal! How are you? Have you considered trying the Fentanyl patch? It is a much stronger analgesic and is available as a generic, so it's much cheaper. Learn more Fentanyl details here. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nau... ...
