I have been taking Ativan for 8 years now, prescribed to me by my doctor, after being hospitalized for drug use. I am doing great now, but after a motorcycle accident got prescribed Ativan "lorazepam" again for pain and muscle relief but now I am at 6 mg of Ativan daily and it's not doing the job anymore. It helps me and relieves my pain and anxiety for one hour, then nothing. I need to find a replacement if possible just like Ativan. I have been taking lorazepam with the #063, and a couple of mos. ago they said they don't have them or can't get them anymore. they tried to give me another pill saying it is the same, 2mg but it is not the same. Diagnosed triple negative inflammatory breast cancer 9-17-12. Been taking 2 antidepressants since the 80s. No one looked at my meds before putting in my port or starting 18 chemos. They gave me Lorazepam everytime. The mixture of Lorazepam with the antidepressants made my bowels and stomach hurt like it was crushed glass I had eaten. 8 days in hospital after 3rd chemo. Can morphine and Scopolamine Lorazepam be mixed for a 70 year old man with terminal cancer? ## I looked up these medications myself and could not find any indications for why they could not be used together! From what I have read, the one medication of course is for pain and the other is a patch that is worn behind the ear which is given to help alleviate nausea ..... however I am not in the health care field whatsoever and you really should be calling the doctor if these medications were not proscribed to him by the doctor that is treating him! My daughter is disabled, non verbal and has severe self hitting behavior issues. She is blind due to retina detachment. She got multiple surgeries for retina reattachment. She still has silicon oil in her eyes to hold the retina in place. From the last two years she has been complaining about some kind of pain but not sure where the pain could be. My doctor wants to take me off Xanax. I have taken 1mg 3 times a day for 10 years. I take it for my anixity disorder as well as a relaxant for my skeletal muscle disorder. It's also round, not oblong in shape. However there are some pain pills that are white and oblong, including Watson 388 (Hydrocodone 2.5mg + Acetaminophen 500mg) as well as Watson 853 (Hydrocodone bitartrate 10mg + Acetaminophen 325mg). I have suffered chronic pain from miserably failed back surgery and also have fibromyalgia. I have been in PM since 1994 and had to scratch my way through the medicine cabinet along with submitting to a kazillion different tests, therapy, the works. I wear 100mcg fentanyl patches, take 10/325 Norco for breakthrough pain, 6 mg tizanidine four times a day, 100mg trazadone at bed and bupropion 150 SR twice a day. I also suffer depression when my pain goes uncontrolled. I cannot take Cymbalta, Lyrics, gabapentin, desipramine, and SSRIs do NOTHING for me. Help me in Raleigh/Durham, NC....I am 31 years old, otherwise healthy male, with two slipped/herniated discs, low (L4, L5) Facet Degeneration, Chronic Back Pain, and multiple other issues with my low back. I've been taking this new med DEXTROAMP-AMPHET ER 20MG. Because of fatigue and foggy feeling due to pain meds for chronic pain plus I take meds for depression and bad anxiety. I feel the dextroamp-amphet ER 20mg working a little but it still doesn't quit take the tired foggy feeling away and it seems to not last all day. Should I ask to up the dose or ask for instant release so it works better? My Doctor had just refilled my Lorazepam for painc attacks last tuesday. My boyfriend and i are on rockey relationship and he took them from my purse last night and keeps saying he didnt and im not sure how to haddle this do you go to the police or doctor? what should i do? ## It is a controlled substance, so there is a chance that it will not be replaced for you, either way, but in order to have the best chance possible and to avoid your getting in trouble for being out of them early, you do need the police report. After that is done, you can take a copy of the police report to your doctor and explain what happened. Are there any other suggestions, or advice?
