Hello i was wondering if they actually do make an oxycodone 20mg IR tablet? Now im on Oxycodone 30mg IR tab #120 1 tab 4 times daily. I suffer from severe debilitating chronic lower back and leg pain. Or immediate release? ## There are no generic formulations available of Oxycontin, there are only generics available of the instant release and the regular release. Additionally, the instant release is only available in 5mg capsules. Thus, if you have a tablet that does not have the OP marking and it is from the U.S., then it is fairly safe to assume that's most likely a regular release tablet. I found an orange peach pill that say ABG or EBG on one side (its hard to tell) and the number 40 on the other. It's round. ## ABG 40 is Oxycodone Controlled Release 40mgs, a generic for Oxycontin. A very strong narcotic pain reliever, very addictive and with some pretty heavy side effects. ## I know this is an old thread but wanted to post an update. Currently I believe this old pill has been superseded by the 40 mg extended release (OP version) from Teva. It is round and yellow with the imprint OP 40. I am not sure if she really did but my friend called me and said that she took 19 30mg oxycotin and 25 4mg dilaudid. I want to know if I should go get her and take her to hospital. That sounds like alot to me but I know she has had cancer so not sure how high her tolerance is. ## Even with a high tolerance, to me that sounds like a deliberate overkill. Regardless of her tolerance, even the biggest addicts/junkies don't use "half" of nineteen 30mg extended-release oxycodones in one sitting; let alone topping it off with twenty-five 4mg dilaudids. I don't mean to sound judgmental, but she certainly could have killed herself with 570mg of Oxycodone + 100mg of Dilaudid!
