My brother was on OXYCONTIN blue generic k57 40 mg for torn muscles~ he weighed 252 pounds & was prescribed 30 pills by physician~ we'll to make long story short he took 3 bc of severe pain and died in sleep, how can a man his weight have his heart stop by taking a small amount when he weighs so much? Have they changed? They were once yellow but heard genres are bluish & stronger than real ones? ## Hello, Jack! How are you? I am so sorry for your loss, that's so tragic. The tablet with the K 57 marking is manufactured by KVK Tech and they list them as containing only 20mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizzin...

Oxycodone or Oxycontin is this time released? Or immediate release? ## There are no generic formulations available of Oxycontin, there are only generics available of the instant release and the regular release. Additionally, the instant release is only available in 5mg capsules. Thus, if you have a tablet that does not have the OP marking and it is from the U.S., then it is fairly safe to assume that's most likely a regular release tablet. This one is a generic for Roxicodone, which is a name brand for the regular release formulation and it contains 20mgs of Oxycodone. Learn more Oxycodone details here. Where did you find it? ## Verwon, I was reading your response to Kiki, and I have a question for you. What is the difference between Oxycodone and Oxycotin? ## Hi Susie, I sort of st...

Where did you find it? ## Those are def 20s ## No those are the 20 mg oxycodone. They have a light pink tint to them. ## Here's an image for verification: (K | 57) 20mg Oxycodone hydrochloride

They contain 20mgs of regular release Oxycodone, so they are a generic for Roxicodone. Learn more Roxicodone details here. Where did you find them? ## I have a pill it has 20 on it it's white and round I was told they were 20 milligrams Percocet but I can't find it there's nothing on the other side just a white line and 20 on the other side can someone help me ## It's not real. The KVK 20mg oxycodone has the line on the same side as the K 57. The line splits K from 57. ## Hello I recently was upgraded to a 20 mg oxycodone from a 15. My fifteens wer...

the pill is small round and has k 57 on one side ## Hello, Brooke! How are you? I don't have a picture to post for you, due to copyright reasons, but I can tell you that a round, gray tablet with K 57 on it is listed in the databases as containing 20mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation, which is a generic for Roxicodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I have a small round lavender pill with k 57 on one side. What is it? It was given to me because my back hurts. ## The manufacturer KVK Tech lists this tablet as containing 20mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation. The FDA warns that it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation, and headache. Is there anything else I can help with? ## If you have never taken a narcotic analgesic then only take 1 after food and for God sake don’t drive. Your tolerance is going to be extremely low and this medicine will be extremely strong for you. There are lighter medications like oxycodone with acetaminophen - they come in 5 7.5 and 10 mg. If these prove to be too strong for you, you could break them in half o...

I found an orange peach pill that say ABG or EBG on one side (its hard to tell) and the number 40 on the other. It's round. ## ABG 40 is Oxycodone Controlled Release 40mgs, a generic for Oxycontin. A very strong narcotic pain reliever, very addictive and with some pretty heavy side effects. ## I know this is an old thread but wanted to post an update. Currently I believe this old pill has been superseded by the 40 mg extended release (OP version) from Teva. It is round and yellow with the imprint OP 40. NDC code 0093-5733 for anyone who is interested.

I have a very light purple almost kinda beige & round pill it has a k on one half and a 57 on the other. It has the same shape and size as a blue roxycodone..Are these just another brand or are the 15mg's? ## HI, Bob! Where did you find them? It seems that your suspicions are correct, but not the dosage. These contain 20mgs of Oxycodone in a regular release formulation and are generics for Roxicodone. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. I am not sure if she really did but my friend called me and said that she took 19 30mg oxycotin and 25 4mg dilaudid. I want to know if I should go get her and take her to hospital. That sounds like alot to me but I know she has had cancer so not sure how high her tolerance is. ## Even with a high tolerance, to me that sounds like a deliberate overkill. Regardless of her tolerance, even the biggest addicts/junkies don't use "half" of nineteen 30mg extended-release oxycodones in one sitting; let alone topping it off with twenty-five 4mg dilaudids. I don't mean to sound judgmental, but she certainly could have killed herself with 570mg of Oxycodone + 100mg of Dilaudid! This is one case where you'd want to check and see if she's still breathing after you get off the ...
