My 2 1/2 old kid (pre-kg) suffers from cold for d past week doc prescribed relent+, she was better after 4 days n now she used to get cough at nyt. First was dry cough n next nyt was mucous associated cough disturbed her sleep vry much twice. She had been crying d whole nyt. Water cuddled make her sleep better? Cough syrup or vicks vapourub or steam? Also how many days she need to get rid of dis cold and cough? ## My daughter is 4 she complained her throat is sore I have a sealed bottle of purbac in frigde that I recieced for my 2mth old baby but then dr gave me betamox for his infect my question is can I use the purbac on my daughter for her throat as its a month in fridge n never been open thanks

I am on Suboxone. I have been on it for about a year or a little better. I have come down with a severe cough and cold. I can't sleep at night due to coughing so bad. Is there anything at all that I can take with the Suboxone that won't have a bad interaction. I just can't lay down without coughing my head off. I don't know what to do. I use to take this cough syrup when I was a kid. It was the only cough syrup that would help me. I was just wondering if it still can be bought? You had to mix it at home but I forget how. It is used to treat the symptoms of a cold and allergies. Did your doctor not provide you with any dosing instructions? From the amounts in each teaspoon, it sounds like that would be a dose, one 5ml teaspoon for a child of that age. It is usually given every 6 to 8 hours, as needed, but not to exceed 4 doses a day. What can replace Novahistine DMX cough syrup? Nothing helps now since they discontinued this syrup years ago. Taking them individually also doesn't work. DMX helped within 5 minutes. ## When you took them individually, were they in tablet/capsule form, or liquids? Since a cough syrup is liquid, it is normal for it to work fairly fast, but tablets, and capsules tend to take a bit longer to take affect. Novahistine DMX contained Dextromethorphan, Guaifenesin, and Pseudoephedrine, and this combination is available in a couple other products, as well, such as Robitussin Cough & Cold D, and Maxifed DMX. I am 4th month pregnant now and from past 3 days I have cold (Blocked nose), and cough with Flum inside and fever at some times. Hi. I live in NSW Australia. I am having monthly CDT blood tests ( measure of alcohol consumption over a monthly basis) The 1st 7 tests have been negative. The last two results where high and I am shattered. I had been really sick with the flu and bronchitis for over 3 weeks. I couldn't eat or sleep and was taking the strongest over the counter cough mixture I could, almost 1 bottle a day just to get some sleep.
