Hi, I am long time anxiety patient - i've been on paxil, buspar, lexapro, zanaflex, remrom, flexiril, tricyciclants, trazodone - you name it. Also, with this I have had bad insomnia. I will not sleep for nights at a time, and it is affecting my work as well as my social life. I have tried (for sleep) Lunesta 2-4mg, Ambien 20mg, Sonata 40mg, and Prosom 2mg. I also aso tried restriol. For anxiety I have been on Ativan, Valium, Klonopin, and Versed. At the time, none of the night medicines work, I will even combine them. My anxiety (which is so common in my family) keeps me up. The problem is, they tend to either prescribe one (sleep medicine) or the other (anxiety). After 21 years of driving, I suddenly develop of a fear of driving. I've been to my doctor who indicated that my high stress levels has caused this sudden fear. He has me on 10 mg of urbanol per day but this has not helped. I need to overcome this fear as I travel long distances daily for work. ## Hello, Sandra! How are you doing? What type of doctor did you see? It may be better to see a specialist to get more help with this issue. Many people get over such fears by simply deciding one day that they're silly, but that doesn't always work for everyone. Driving on this type of medication isn't really a good idea, either. It can cause dizziness and drowsiness, which may make things dangerous. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been on 20mg of Celexa for 5 weeks now. I have noticed little difference. I have to take ativan to get through the day! When can I expect to feel better? ## It usually only takes 4 to 5 weeks to reach its full level of efficacy in your body. If there's been no improvement, then it may not be the right medication to help you and you may need to try something else. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, mood swings and weight changes. Just wanted to add some additional information regarding my experience with Daliresp. It does cause moderate to severe anxiety. That, in turn, causes me to have trouble breathing. In the beginning I did not think that the pill was doing me that much good; however, if you take a mile anxiety medication ( I am taking .25 mg. Alprazolam each morning) the anxiety is less and you can really see your strength coming back. The elephant is gone from my chest. Today I lowered my oxygen by 1/2 liter. I am going to try that each week as a goal to see how far I can get before I hit the wall. started on benicar 20 mg 3 mos ago...made me feel worse and in a fog... Doc lowered it to 10 mg..got me down into the 120's/65's which is great ! need to know all possible side effects..including not being able to get a full nites sleep or even 1/2 of one ..2/3's of the time since switching to 10 mg..feeling of anxiety as soon as I start to fall asleep..What meds are safe to take for this occasional anxiety feeling while on benicar ? ## You can learnBenicar side effect information here. Im on work comp for two herniated discs. Doctors have me on Percocet 10 and zanaflex. Body adjusting. I also am prescribed 3mg of xanax daily along with zoloft for anxiety. Would this pill help if I were to ask? I dont want to take pills that can become habit forming like this. AndI know my tolerance is going up. Can someone please give me an honest answer.
