Hey y all. So I ran out of my suboxine. Took a half last night actually evening. Around 5 pm. Have some loratabs left, from a previous script. In a serious amount of pain. I took my first Contrave this morning and it will be my last! I am on long-term hydrocodone due to spinal stenosis. My doctor told me I would have more pain due to the opioid blockers in Contrave. However I got hit with stomach cramps, severe diarrhea, chills, and terrible nausea (sitting on the loo with my head in a waste basket). Is this why people lose weight, because they're so nauseous they want to die? Side effects of getting off of hydro codons ## I haven't taken Hydro's for 5 days. The only side effect I'm having is a lot of fatigue. I don't want to do anything because I get so tired and a little restlessness at night. Before I go to bed, I drink a cup of Sleepy Time tea, take one Passion Flower pill 250MG & before I know it, I want to go to bed. The Hydrocodone in the Vicodin/Lortab is a potent narcotic analgesic. But the Tramadol is just a centrally acting analgesic, though it is derived from an opiate, it is nowhere near as strong and effective as the opiate narcotic class. I take Lortab 10's, Fentanyl 100mg patch every 3 days and Ibuprofen. I stay in constant pain and wanted to know what I could switch to that would be stronger and help with my constant pain. I seem to have a very smart Doctor. He prescribed Norco 10-325 for post surgical pain. The first bottle gave me nothing but relief. The refill, at a different pharmacy, caused unbelievable itching all over and down my throat. I called and told him he had me look up the mfgr on the bottle. It was Qua. He said my problem is the dye used in the second batch. He re prescribed to the original pharmacy and got the Norco manufactured by Watson. If you are taking an opiate that is making you itch, have your doctor re prescribe from a pharmacy that uses the pill made by a different mfgr. Hello, I know someone who is prescribed Hydrocodone-- 10mg-325 acetaminophen mg and Morphine-15mg. I have been on Hydrocodone for a fractured neck from a motorcycle accident. I am now off after having terrible withdrawal symptoms. This drug is very very addictive and your system will become immune to it very quickly if taken long term. I am now on Ultram which is a form of narcotic but not addictive.
