I have high cholesterol (total 252 - hdl 55 / ldl 16. triglycerides 216). My age is 37. My ECG is normal. The doctor suggested I take ecosprin tablets. Is it useful to me? HI,my dad is taking ECOSPRIN AV 75 for past 2 weeks on his cardiologist's advice. He has also been taking Aztor for the past year and a half, prescribed by another doctor. Both are taken at night. Can these meds be taken together, as both contain 10mg atorvastatin. Is this considered a high dose and is it necessary? it is to reduce chlororstrol and triglysterides ## I am advised to take atocor 10 for breathlessness while walking. Its use has benefitted me to a great degree. Earlier I was advised to take Ecosprin AV150 and I am taking the medicine for over 9 years. Now I am advised by the doctor to change it to Clopitab A75.As such I am not having colostral. Kindly let me know the difference between Clopitab A 75 and Ecosprin AV 150. The Eco-AV contains Apsirin and Atorvastatin, this combines a NSAID blood thinner with a medication to help lower cholesterol. I was taking Tonact 20 and Ecosprin 150 separately. Tonact 20 costs about rs.200 for 15 tablets. I came across Ecosprin AV 150 containing both above ingredients in single capsule and costing just rs.20 for 10 tablets. This lowers the medicine bill to absolute low. But what is the catch? Does Ecosprin AV 150 have Atorvastatin that is of low quality and that is why they are selling it at such low price or is it genuine medicine at low price because of some other factors? if so, what are the factors? ## Do you have Insurance to help you? If so, the price difference maybe because you insurance company "prefers" you to take the "2 in 1" pill than taking them separately. In my country (i am a phamracist) we don´t have the "2 in 1".
