Kindly let me know the difference between Clopitab A 75 and Ecosprin AV 150. The same was advised when I visited the doctor for a routine check-up and informed the doctor that nowadays I am very weak. Kindly advice. Thank you ## Ecosprin AV contains Aspirin and Atorvastatin, while Clopitab A contains Aspirin and Clopidogrel, so yes, it does lack the medication that helps lower cholesterol. However, if your doctor has advised you to switch, due to the weakness you are feeling, then you should follow their instructions. Atorvastatin has been known to cause weakness in some people that take it. Clopitab A ...

My aunt is prescribed Ecosprin AV and Rosuvastatin daily. Can these drugs be taken simultaneously? ## They generally should not be taken together, since Ecosprin AV contains Atorvastatin, with Aspirin, so it and Rosuvastatin are basically doubling up on the same medication. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches. Is she on any other medications?

I am using Ecosprin along with Tenormi8n for the last 20 years . Recently I observed that Ecosprin has direct effect on my nervous system. for almost the same period. If so, which alternate medicine can I use for Ecosprin? ## Ecosprin just contains the active ingredient Asprin, in this low dosage, it's usually used for blood thinning and heart health. Hi. I was taking aspirin delayed release 75mg. For last 3-4 years. As the tablet got over I requested one of my friend to bring the ecosprin tablet but he brought aspirin gastro resistance 75mg ..is it both are same. There is no problem of taking this medicine. ## Please what is the difference between aspirin dispersible 75mg and gastro-resistance asprin 75mg? ## @Post #1, I don't know if there's any inherent difference between the two, as from what I could gather, the dispersible tablets are said to be soluble and the gastro-resistant tablets are said to have an enteric-coating that is supposed to delay release and be easier on the stomach (providing longer lasting effects). Technically, both tablets are soluble - but the gastro-resistant tablets explicitly state that they last...

My father has been taking Ecosprin 150, 1 tab daily for the last 7 years. Would like to know if Loprin 75 is an alternative. ## They both contain the same active ingredient, Aspirin, which in these dosages, is most commonly used for its blood thinning properties. The only difference would be the dosage, going down from 150mgs to 75mgs. What has his doctor suggested? I wouldn't recommend making a switch, without their approval. Do you know why he was put on this medication? ## I was taking ECOSPRIN 150. Now I have been prescribed Loprin 7.5. Is there any reason for the change ?

is ecosprin 75 delayed release and ecosprin gastro resistant same ? ## Hi saah, "Gastro-resistant" and "delayed release" are two completely different components. The term "gastro-resistant" (also commonly referred to as "enteric-coated") is simply a buffer agent to make it easier on the stomach. And "delayed release" casually refers to longer lasting effects. However, to better address your question, Ecosprin (Aspirin) 75mg delayed release tablets ARE described on several sites as being enteric-coated. So in that sense they do share the same properties. I hope this helps!
