Well I've been on and off vicodin for 2 years now, (pardon my grammer and spelling, I'm on my iPhone and it's time for bed). It's always the same 5 a day and within 3 months 40-50. I've always gone the hard way at quitting time, 7-10 days of misery, not hell. Some how within the last two years I have become a sucessful business owner who hasn't lost everything, I've been there before and that's why this drug is so f***ing scary, I'm functional. Long story short, I've lost 25 pounds, pale as a ghost and am getting married in 8 months. Due to my biz I can't afford to hit the good ol withdrawls again so tomorrow at 11 I'm going to a clinic, (f*** kaiser) to begin suboxone treatment. My questions are will I have the night sweats, crazy back pa...

What is "informed Rx" as referred to by the app at The App Store? ## Hi Bill, The publisher's description of the app states the following: "The informedRx iPhone app features your prescription information anytime, anywhere. Register for the informedRx app or use your member login to access your prescription benefits. View medication history; Locate participating pharmacies; GPS enabled; Compare drug costs and find lower-cost alternatives; Learn about drug side effects; Organize and set reminders for prescription and over the counter drugs; Manage your medical contacts; Receive fill and prior authorization notifications. This app is free for plan members to make healthy and cost effective choices!" I'm not sure if it actually costs money to be a member or if it is...

round, red, small, coated pill with the number 251 on one side, other side is blank ## This tablet contains 30mgs of Pseudoephedrine, a generic for Sudafed. This is a decongestant. ## I did a search on iPhone program and it said this is Nortriptyline, 35 mg. ## Thank you for all the help but we have neither of those meds in our house. I am wondering if it is something called Uricalm, which is a pill for bladder and urinary tract pain, and it is more a reddish orange than true red. It is a bit new on the market and sold at Walmart, also they are changing to a different dosage so maybe this pill wasn't around long enough to be identified. I will keep looking and double check the numbers on the pill. ## I receivd an Email asking if this was resolvèd for me. It was not so i threw t...

I take 600mg of gabapentin 3times daily for essential tremor. If I wait too long between doses I become confused dizzy and very tired. Also need to take upon rising in the AM. I Also have parkinsons but meds are not supposed to conflict.(azilect). Gabapentin works great for tremor but scary if I miss a dose. Any one else? ## How long have you been taking it? It's unusual to have a reaction that soon upon missing a dose. Learn more Gabapentin details here. However, since it is happening, what I'd suggest is your setting up some type of reminder system to avoid missing doses. I use an app on my iPhone that beeps whenever I need to take my next dose of medications, but even leaving yourself notes around the house could work. Have you tried any reminder methods?

If I miss one scheduled dose, which is every 12hours, by 3 or 4 hours, take a dose.. Then slowly get back to schedule. Is that ok, or should I skip it altogether? ## Hello, John! How are you? Generally, you should take the missed dose, as soon as you remember and only skip it, if it's close to the time for your next dose. Otherwise, you take it and then get yourself back on schedule, unless your doctor instructs otherwise. However, with such a medication, it would be best to take all doses on time. Do you have a smart phone? If so, there are many free reminder apps that you can download that will remind you when it's time to take your medication. I use one on my iPhone all the time. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness...
