My doctor prescribed this pill for me, she wrote a prescription for Lortab 10, but the pharmacist gives me hydrocodone everytime. I would like to know what's in this pill. ## It is the same thing, your pharmacist is just giving you the generic for Lortab. The name brand Lortab contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone, that is exactly what it in the pill your pharmacist is giving you. Your insurance may require that he dispense a generic, rather than the name brand. This is a potent narcotic pain reliever and you may experience side effects such as: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. You can read more here: Is there anything else I can help you with?

My pharmacy just switched to the Avkare brand of Norco 7.5. The imprint on it is IP 115. I feel like these do not work at all for me. I would like to know if anyone else that are on these or ever have been on them can let me know how it works/worked for them. ## Hello, Maria! How are you? Has there been any change? As permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, there can be fluctuations in generic medications. They are allowed to differ in the amount of the active ingredients by as much as plus or minus 20% of what's in the name brand, additionally, they do not have to measure against each other, only against the name brand. Thus it is possible that this one is a little lower than the prior one you were taking. However, since the differences are slight, most people adjust within a we...

Text alerts plz.on prescription drugs. ## Hello, Shawnquita! How are you? I'm sorry, but this site doesn't offer a text alert service. However, there is an email newsletter you can sign up, by putting your email address in the box, when making or responding to a post. The tablet with the IP 466 marking actually contains 800mgs of Ibuprofen, so it is not any type of narcotic. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory that's used to treat pain, fever and swelling. Its side effects may include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation and increased risk of bleeding. Is there anything else I can help with?

Seriously? Is Everyone just hoping their little white pills are some kind of hydrocodone! Wow. Wonder why 2015 is the year the FDA decided that all C2 RX would have to be written, signed off by a DR. and carried into the pharmacy. The good old fax, phone call came to a screaming halt, due to the general public wanting to catch a buzz. Pissed off the rest of us who really need pain meds to function on a day to day basis. Try cannabis or grab a beer. Get off my RX. Refills. I don't take your food do I? Get help. ## Do you even know why so many people are asking if this is hydrocodone? No? Me either, but if they're going through what I'm going through right now, then they may be freaking out cause they just found this pill in their teenagers room, or they got their meds mixed u...

I was wondering if you could tell me what kind of drug it is that is labeled IP 137 on one side and has 800 on the other side ## hydrocodone IP 137 ## that sounds like IB for ibuprfen 800 mg ## Based on the description provided, I found your pill to be Ibuprofen (800 mg). IP is the correct mark. Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for relief of symptoms of arthritis, primary dysmenorrhea, fever, and as an analgesic. Supposed to be a Lortab, scored with IP 414. Please ID ## Can I ask the color and shape of the tablet? I'm not finding a marking for IP414 in any of the databases. I have, however, found one marked IP 144, a brown, caplet, that contains 200mgs of Ibuprofen, a generic or store brand for Advil or Motrin. Please post back and let me know if this matches the tablet in question, or provide whatever additional information you can. In the meantime, I'll keep looking.

The 3202 gave me a bumpy, itchy rash! The IP 109 are fine. What is the difference? ## Hello, Amy! How are you? I'm sorry about the reaction you had. My best guess is that there is something different in the inactive ingredients. To explain it simply, there is a pool of them that a manufacture can choose from, they are all excipients that the FDA considers biologically inert, so they don't have an affect on the way the medication works and most people aren't allergic to them and/or don't suffer allergic reactions. But which ones a manufacturer uses is entirely up to them, so they can differ from one generic to another. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, d...

What do 20 mg hydrocodone look like? The pills I have are white oblong tablets with a score on one side and the other side has IP 109 on it. The tablet you have contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Vicodin, this is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments? ## There are now hydrocodone Er tablets now (Hysingla ER). IP 190 with a divided line on the back of the pill is hydrocodone 5mg with 500mg acetaminophen. Definitely similar to the naproxen IP 190 with 500 on the other side. ## The tablet with the IP 190 500 marking is 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. The other tablet has the marking of IP 109 and it is a generic for Vicodin that contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The two different imprints have been confused here on other threads.

Taking it for 3 yrs, back pain getting worse on 2 per day. The state is clamping down on opioids. What could my doctor prescribe for me at this point? ## Even with the clamp downs going on, your doctor can still prescribe necessary medications, they just have to be careful how much they prescribe and make sure there is a legitimate reason for the patient to need them. If the person has a possibly fatal illness, such as stage 4 cancer, such restrictions set forth by the DEA, exclude them. Too many doctors were prescribing pain medications, without verifying that a patient had a real reason to need them. The tablet you've mentioned is the 5/325mg dosage, so if your doctor things it may help, there is a 7.5/325mg dose and a 10/325mg that they could prescribe for you. The FDA classifies...

I was given a different brand of hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 by MFG AMNEAL, instead of my regular brand watson 10-325 I was told that my pharmacy wouldnt carry watson brand after the fact of giving me the new generic brand. Even though the label on my new brand states oval white tab.watson 853 not letting me prior of refilling my prescription. And I need to know if both brands are equally the same? I read most of people complain about this new MFG AMNEAL generic brand. I want the facts and truth about brands being the same. When i asked one of the pharmacist, she said, "watson my regular brand is the same as my new brand". But i would like an outsider professional opinion who doesnt work for my pharmacy. ## No not the same! Same thing happened to me, so I did my research! F...

oblong white pill with lP118 on it.i'm sleeping too much. ## The marking is actually IP118, this is Acetaminophen 750mgs and Hydrocodone 7.5mgs, a generic for Vicodin ES. Drowsiness is a very common side effect of all narcotic drugs, the longer you are on this dosage, the more your body should get used to it and the side effects should taper off. Unfortunately, if you are like me, then they never entirely taper off and you may have to fight drowsiness as long as you have to take narcotics. I have been on Morphine and Oxycodone, without changing the dosage, for several years now and I still have to fight drowsiness everyday. The worse of it will usually hit within a half-hour to 45 minutes of taking the pill. I just have to make myself stay awake, or sleeping is all I would do. So yo...

Hydros say IP 109 and Naproxen says IP 190 ## Hi amanda, Thanks for clearing up any confusion between the two pills! From what I could gather, another differentiating factor is that Naproxen's tablet also has "500" imprinted on the other side of IP 190; whereas with Hydrocodone/Apap, IP 109 is the only imprint. Naproxen 500mg (NDC 65162-0190): Ref: DailyMed Hydrocodone/Apap 5mg-325mg (NDC 53746-109): Ref: DailyMed Hope this helps! ## Is "ip190" and "tramadol hcl 50mg" the same thing?
