I don't take Ip272. I found the pill and the "p" is capitalized not lower case. Came across this site while looking for what type of pill this was. Don't think my incontinence problem has anything to do with this pill. But I am having a problem with incontinence. Started slowly and not frequently i.e.: only when I coughed hard. Then I started having problems because I could feel I was wetting my pants, but there was no urgency. It is as though my "crotch" went numb and started leaking all on its own and I had to get to the bathroom quickly. When I sat down, the urine came out but I didn't feel anything but I still kept urinating. Twice I have wet the bed twice but not since then and that was two weeks ago. I have been exercizing my kegle muscle and that seems... ...

my doctor has told me to take two of the sulfamethoxazole-tmp twice a day, and I'm really feeling sick since I've taken the second one, is this not an awful high dosage to be taken. ## The dose of Sulfamethoxazole + Trimethoprim largely depends on the type of infection you have and how severe it is. However, these pills you have marked "IP 272" are regarded as "double-strength tablets". For most infections, I found that the dosing schedule was one double strength tablet (800mg/160mg) every 12 hours for roughly 7-10 days; so if you feel like you're taking too much, I would suggest contacting your doctor about this concern. Some of these antibiotics have very harsh side effects and I don't blame anyone for wanting get off of them as soon as possible. ## I a... ...

My boyfriend have a bad tooth ack pain and he want some of my sulfame/trimethoprim will that help it until he go to the dentist on the 15 ## Hello, Tana! How is your boyfriend doing? This is an antibiotic, so it is only effective at treating bacterial infections, it will not relieve the pain he's experiencing. It's also best not to take it, if it hasn't been prescribed for him, because it creates the risk of his developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. Side effects to this medication may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with? ...

Question on above pill how dos this pill effect blood to brain membrane what could happen to brain tissue ## Hello, Beammehome! How are you? Most medications don't cross or have an affect on the blood/brain barrier. Enabling medications to cross it to treat certain conditions, such as brain tumors, has been an ongoing dilemma that medical science has been working on for years and only recently have some breakthroughs been made, which require further study and testing. This medication is an antibiotic that is used to treat infections. Typical side effects may include nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. However, it should not damage brain tissue, the only complications that might arise would be due to someone being allergic to it. Is there anything else I can help ... ...
