My friend thinks her pills are vicodine, I have looked them up and found they r naproxin. is there any way a white oblong pill with ip190 on one side and 500 on the other b anything other than naproxin ## Hi Ashley, The imprint you mentioned "IP 190 500" is identified as Naproxen 500mg, and ONLY that. It is manufactured by Akyma Pharmaceuticals. I was able to verify this on a number of websites as well, so you can be rest assured it is just that. Some people actually misinterpret the look of the pill and think that it is Hydrocodone (Vicodin), since the look of the oblong white pill is "similar" but this is not the case here. This tablet is manufactured by Akyma Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 500mgs of Naproxen, which is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. Hydros say IP 109 and Naproxen says IP 190 ## Hi amanda, Thanks for clearing up any confusion between the two pills! From what I could gather, another differentiating factor is that Naproxen's tablet also has "500" imprinted on the other side of IP 190; whereas with Hydrocodone/Apap, IP 109 is the only imprint. I keep seeing IP 190/500 as being naproxen but this is not what I am looking for.I want to know what a long white pill with IP 190 on 1 side and NOTHING AT ALL on the other side is.It`s supposed to be hydrocodone 7.5 (not sure how many mg`s of acetaminophen) but was told it has 7.5 mg`s of hydrocodone ## I can't tell you what it is because I honestly don't know but I can tell you that it is absolutely not a 7.5/500 hydrocodone (or any other 7.5 hydrocodone mix). I've had them and seen them all, having been on hydrocodone for 20 years and none looked like that. Wish I could tell you more. ## Angie, do you happen to know where it's from? I'm not finding a listing for anything with just the IP 190 on it, either, however, this doesn't necessarily mean that it is or i...

I've seen Naproxen and have been told Vicodin has this imprint as well. Are Naproxen and Vicodin the same? ## Naproxen and Vicodin are two very different pain medications. To my understanding, the similarities found in the imprint are just a sign that they had been manufactured or redistributed by the same company (Amneal Pharmaceuticals).
