I've seen Naproxen and have been told Vicodin has this imprint as well. Are Naproxen and Vicodin the same? ## Naproxen and Vicodin are two very different pain medications. To my understanding, the similarities found in the imprint are just a sign that they had been manufactured or redistributed by the same company (Amneal Pharmaceuticals). The IP 190 500 tablet contains Naproxen 500mg (NDC 65162-0190); a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Hey guys, the IP 109 / 500 is naproxen. But if you have an oblong pill with IP 109 and a line on the back I think it's Vicodin 5mg. Personally I think they look way too much alike. Always check. ## Hello, Kristin! How are you? Thank you for your helpful post! Is this similar to Vicodin or norcos? Does it give you the same feeling/affect? Does it have narcotics in it? Is it considerate a opiate? ## Does it have ip 190 on one side and 500 on the other, white oblong ? If it does it is 500 mg Naproxen. Naproxen is a nonsterodial anti-inflammatory. It is the same medication that is in Aleve over the counter, except the mg is higher in prescription Naproxen. It is not a narcotic or opiate. It does not contain the same medication as Vicodin or Norco.
