I have been taking v3601 yellow norco since I have had 2 spinal fusion done and they work great. One pill lasts about six hours. Now my pharmacy switched to IP 110 and I have to take 3 to 4 pills every 4 to 5 hours and they make me feel weird. I don't care what anyone says, there is a difference in the two. The ip110 are complete garbage and should be taken off the market. I am in so much pain still after 4 pills and feel like crap. How can this manufacturer think no one would notice the difference? So now I have to go all month (well I won't make it all month) taking two to three time more a day than normal. I will run out. This is such crap. So now I am forced to take more then prescribed a day just to somewhat help the pain instead of taking less to help the pain. Completely ...

Have severe degenerative disc disease. I recieve fyntinal patch and 10-325 hydrocodone and this has been ongoing 10years or so. I have learned not all hydrocodone is the same and that using the same hydrocodone loses its effect but changing the generic hydricodone manufacturer can help keep the effects of the medication working at its peak. ## Hi roro, Sorry to hear about your condition. It sounds like you have a pretty good idea of what works for you and what doesn't after being on these for 10 years. No one can argue that. However in my opinion, you're proposed theory on hydrocodone having more profound effects when you change manufacturers is debatable depending on which manufacturer you get. Often times the differentiating inactive ingredients play a role in how well one bra...

I took 4 IP 110 pills and it appears this morning that I've lost my voice. is this one of the side effects per this pain medication? ## Hello, Derrick! How are you? No, that's not a typical side effect, but the opiate in them can cause dry mouth and throat, which may have caused the issue. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you have any other symptoms?

What difference between Watson/10-325? ## Both contain Hydrocodone 10 mg and Acetaminophen 325 mg. ## BL is correct! Thus, the only difference is that they have been manufactured by different companies. Watson, of course for the one, and Intrapharm for the other. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

White small oblong pill with ip110; norco. Why it doesn't work as good as watson? ## This tablet contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen and 10mgs of Hydrocodone, a generic for Norco. NDC: 53746-110 This tablet is made by Amneal Pharmaceuticals. As to why it may not work as well as the ones made by Watson, well, it is a generic version of the drug. I know when you are given a generic or read the information pamphlets about them, you are told that they are exactly the same as their name brand counterparts, however, this is done to try to prevent people from being afraid to take needed medications. The truth however, is quite different. Under federal law, generics are allowed to differ in the active ingredient from their name brand counterparst by as much as PLUS OR MINUS 20%. The FDA consi...

I was given a different brand of hydrocodone/acetaminophen 10-325 by MFG AMNEAL, instead of my regular brand watson 10-325 I was told that my pharmacy wouldnt carry watson brand after the fact of giving me the new generic brand. Even though the label on my new brand states oval white tab.watson 853 not letting me prior of refilling my prescription. And I need to know if both brands are equally the same? I read most of people complain about this new MFG AMNEAL generic brand. I want the facts and truth about brands being the same. I was on the yellow 10/325. They claimed all they did is just took out the dye. I've been on this dose for years and I guess they thought I was an i**** because they put me on a Norco 10/325 ip 110. I noticed right away they were much weaker. I don't want to have to take more but the reality is they are weaker than the yellow ones. I'm having to take three and still don't feel it working like the two yellow ones I've always taken. Is there a generic that is just as strong as the yellow? ## Hi mel, You are right about Actavis claiming the only notable difference to be a removal of yellow dye; but it would seem to me that there's something the manufacturer isn't telling us. Not only do I have a relative with similar complaints about the white tablet being ineff...
