I've been taking these for a while and recently stopped taking them for a month. I wanted to see the difference in my mind state and moodswings. I just received a refill for what is supposed to be a generic for Synthroid in blister packs. The generic name on the packet is l-thyroxine sodium and looks like the name brand is Tiroy-100 and indicates it is manufactured by Combitic Global Caplet. The pill itself is small pale orange round shaped. There are no markings on the pill. I went to their website, which is very low rent looking, to look for a photo of their pills to make sure it was authentic and l-thyroxine sodium, Tiroy-100, or thyroid meds do not turn up as being manufactured by this company. You did well to take it from your friend. Is there a big difference between the 100 mg and 300 mg pills? I’m currently taking 2 100 mg pills 3 xs a day (600 mg total) for a forearm injury but don’t know hos much a difference it makes between these 2 pills. White is the color of the tablet. ## have two thyroxine doses - one round JSP on one site - 522 with 1/2 splits AND cylindrical or oval pink pill with M or W on one site (think M) and L 13 with split on other side - are these both thryoxine, but different manufacturers? ## To the original poster, I cannot find a tablet that meets the description containing this medication. Lejepson, yes, those are both the same, just made by different companies. They both contain 200mcgs of Thyroxine, used to treat Thryoid disorders.
