Is ip 109 and m367 the same medication? ## Hello, Chancy! How are you? Yes, they are the same, but the dosages are different. The tablet with the M 367 marking is manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, while the one with the IP 109 marking is manufactured by Amneal Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. Have severe degenerative disc disease. I recieve fyntinal patch and 10-325 hydrocodone and this has been ongoing 10years or so. I have learned not all hydrocodone is the same and that using the same hydrocodone loses its effect but changing the generic hydricodone manufacturer can help keep the effects of the medication working at its peak. ## Hi roro, Sorry to hear about your condition. I have taken 10mg/325 for a number of years ,IP110 is inferior to M367 and certainly to vicodin or lortab.Dr.Oz brought to my attention that many generics of many drugs can have an efficacy of +or_20% value.My opinion after many years of use of this type of drug is most generics are inferior.I also feel because I am on medicare my options are limited.IP100 is the poorest generic I have been given to this date. ## Hi john bee, It is true that the FDA permits generic formulas to vary by as much as 20% from the active ingredients in brand formulas. 20% is extremely sloppy in my honest opinion! Is there a big difference between the 100 mg and 300 mg pills? I’m currently taking 2 100 mg pills 3 xs a day (600 mg total) for a forearm injury but don’t know hos much a difference it makes between these 2 pills. What difference between Watson/10-325? ## Both contain Hydrocodone 10 mg and Acetaminophen 325 mg. ## BL is correct! Thus, the only difference is that they have been manufactured by different companies. Watson, of course for the one, and Intrapharm for the other.
