I have a chronic pain condition which is Interstitial cystitis (IC) I will not take oxycodone because I was on it for 4 years and it worked great for my pain but I had to keep upping the dosage and became addicted. So now I am on a different pain medication called the Butrans patch and even though it doesn't help as much as I would like it to, it helps with my daily life. So I am able to still do normal daily things. I also have back pain, I am not sure what it is from but the patch does nothing for that either. I am looking for a doctor who would have no problem prescribing me Zanaflex. I tried it once before and it helped tremendously (along with the patch).
