Exactly what do you use to break it down? Water? I heard vinegar. Please help for a friend. ## Regardless of the method used, it isn't safe to break down any medication and try to use it in a manner for which it isn't intended. Some people try to break them down for injection, but this is very dangerous, because tablets contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, but are normally just expelled as waste. If you inject them, your body is unable to process out these substances and it can lead to blockages, which creates the risk of stroke or embolism. getting a meth high from snorting oramorph and xanax ## This is definitely NOT a safe practice, it is actually VERY dangerous. Not only are you running the risk of overdose, but you are also inhaling substances that are not meant to be broken down by the human body. Many pills contain fillers that are nornally just expelled in your waste. When inhaled or injected, they can create clots and blockages, resulting in decreased lung capacity and stroke. How long have you been doing this?

Took for first time three hours ago as prescribed for bad mania caused by required large cortisone injections for acute arthritis pain. As prescribed (two 0.5 xanax plus two 5x325 percosets did nothing to reduce the manic anxiety and pain. Heart still racing and terrible anxiety continued. Took one extra 0.25 atenolol (have chronic mild atrial fibrillation, keep it on hand). Also took two more xanax and one extra percoset. Felt disoriented and sorta walking into walls for two hours. Now heart is fine, pain reduced, but I can't concentrate on Birdman and scared to go to sleep. It's 4 am...mouth dry. New to these drugs, and history of addiction to 30 years alcohol/fentanyl, but sober/clean for three years after seizure/coma due to cold turkey stopping drinking. Never do this again...

I am prescribed percocet, oxycontin, xanax, and adderall. I had a lower back injection done that I had a reaction to causing SEVERE PAIN AND UTI. I had NORCO left from previous Dr about 4 months prior. On my visit this month I had taken the Norco because pain was so bad. My nurse did a drug urine test on that day. It interfered with some of my other medications (an antidepressant, moodstabilizer, antianxiety...) and I almost died. My blood pressure dropped dangerously low, my oxygen levels plummeted, and they had to call a code blue. Fortunately I had a nurse who acted quickly and gave me an injection of something that neutralized the dilaudin and they did not have to rescusitate me. I have xanax, klonopin, restoril, seroquel, prozac and norco. Taking orally is no longer effective. Can they be taken via injection? ## None! how do i help my friend recover from a k8 drug overdose? also recall her telling me she was on other drugs too. those were xanax somas and hydrocodone as well as k8!! plz any information would help. she said her shoulder had "dead weight" too. ## K 8 can be a number of things but it sounds like your friend is injecting Dilaudid (Hydromorphone) which is an Opiate invented by Germany and used like synthetic Heroin. your friend sounds like she wants to die and should be evaluated for possible mental conditions

I have chronic disc, bone, nerve damage have many other nerve, bone and tendon damage. Had injections, surgery and nothing helps. Going to a pain clinic in Rhode Island and love my doctor but wait is extremely long. Don't know how to find another doctor in area who will continue to prescribe Meds on and need to cope and quality of life. Hi everyone, I'm gonna make this short and sweet. I had lower back issues, then I had surgery and now the pain is worse. I have bulging disks and sciatica. My pain Dr gave me 7.5 hydrocodone and gabapentin. I went today for my appt but was discharged because my test came back positive for oxymorphone and dilaudid. I have NEVER taken those meds. My Dr wouldn't even see me. Last month they were supposed to do injections but never called for approval until the morning I showed up for the procedure. ## I relapsed recently on herion, but I have a Dr appt tomorrow and they might drug test me. Is there something I can do to get the drug out of my system before I take the test? And If I take Norco and Xanax, can those two taken together or separate cause my urine test to come back with morphine in it or come back as a false positive/negative test? ## I'm so sorry. i was in several wild car accidents as a teen and recently had a big one at age 41.....im 44 now. As a drug crazed teen I did some damage too....i think....because by age 29 i started with panic attacks and a pot smoking binge second to none as i make decent money. They put me on xanax,.5 x3....good cure...i now take 120 2mg clonopins a day. My back started in soon after....Doc gave me 90 Lortabs a month.....good cure...i now take 180 oxycodone30mg per month....nasally. Sometimes 360 a month if i score elsewhere when i run out. Life was good...more raises....suddenly the impossible....the oxy30's stopped working. Now i take 3 immediately when i wake up just to brush my teeth and limp into the shower. Injections are a ripoff.....withdrawal is hell....i did 7 days in a detox facility....

Hello, my name is Michelle E and my Dr. Has been prescribing them for a while now but I just don't take them cuz I don't want them to affect me in anyway but I just can't sleep at night my mind is always over thinking, always nervous and have alot of anxiety. I took Methadone in the early '90s. It works in the same manner as Suboxone, by filling up your opioid receptors. I am inclined to believe it's a government plan to make this process permanent. With prolonged use, these drugs not only block your opioid receptors but may actually cause damage, rendering them non-functional. I quit using opioids in 1992, around six months after starting Methadone. It seems to me like the government is trying to "fix" us, I assure you of that. After six months of using an inhibitor, I no longer obtain relief from narcotics. The only thing that seems to help is Xanax. I took 3 Xanax, just wanting to know how long it will take to get out of my system/urine as I have a test soon. I had read that swallowing 3 Xanax will be out of the body within 72 hours. I know that injecting drugs comes out of the body quicker than taking it other ways such as snorting, smoking or swallowing the drug. Does anyone know the what the go is? Swallowing xanax is difficult for my handicapped sister and she will not let me administer it as a suppository, so how do I break it down to inject it? ## It is not safe to do so, nor is it legal. Tablets contain fillers and not all of them are meant to be broken down by the human body, they are normally just expelled as waste. If you crush and dissolve a tablet to inject it, you are putting these substances in the body, in a manner in which it cannot process them out. This creates the risk of blockages, which could result in stroke or embolism. There are other Benzodiazepines and sedatives that are in liquid form and intended to be drunk or injected. The safest thing to do is to talk to her doctor about using one of them. Are there any other questions or comments?
