Is Drotin injection a narcotic drug and what's the use of this drug ## Drotin contains the active ingredient Drotaverine, which is in the class of 'antispasmodics' (and is not a narcotic drug). It has been shown to help with some types of pain and muscle spasms, but the only way to really know if it will help you is by trying it. My primary won't prescribe any narcotics, so I'm looking for a new primary. I am going to Bay State pain mng, but they won't do anything at all until I jump through all their hoops.I have been waiting for 4 months now to get facet injections, and IF i ever get one, I have to wait 3 months in between each one which has been awful. I have 2 ruptured discs, and a third completely gone. It's sitting on my left sciatic nerve. I have been waiting and waiting and waiting, and tried to be proactive, but i'm getting nowhere. I can't take this anymore. I actually NEED some medication, and the pill chasers are screwing people like me over and the doctors are turning a blind eye to what they are doing to people like us. I live near Springfield MA, but I'm willing to driv...

My friend has been in excruciating pain after taking ms contin 15 mg via injection. What needs or should be done to help him through this situation? ## Hello, Momma! How is he doing? He needs to seek medical attention immediately. That means he's created a blockage, which acts very similar to a clot and that creates the risk of it possibly coming loose and traveling to other areas of his body, such as the heart, lungs or brain. Another risk is it cutting off blood flow and him developing necrotic tissue. The FDA lists this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## First off thank you for your concern. Fi...

I could really use some advice here. I moved to the Chicago area from out West and the pain management is like night and day from there to here. I feel like b/c there is such a drug abuse problem in the Chicagoland region the doctors I have seen are not willing to prescribe opiates and if they do they aren't willing to prescribe what is necessary to provide pain relief. The doctors I have been seeing in the Chicagoland area seem dead set on installing a Spinal Cord Stimulator. I have also had a doctor who only wants to do epidurals, injections and when he looked at what I was prescribed to when I came and saw him, he literally flipped out. Followed swiftly by a drastic drop in my medications and him saying "you'll be on motrin by this summer". Yet just a month and a 1/2 ...

Is hydromorphone and fentanyl buccal soluble film(bema) available in India? If not, is there any chance of these drugs coming to India in near future? Is dicetylmorphine available in India as wrriten in the DD-7 number prescription form for dispencing morphine sulphate, fentanyl transdermal patches and injections , pethidine injections? ## Need hydromorphone 16 mg. ## Rajinderr, since we are based in the U.S. I don't have a complete list of what is available in India and, when trying to research the specific ones you've mentioned, the information I am finding is conflicting. Have you tried asking a doctor or pharmacist? They would be better equipped to know such details on what can be prescribed there. And Vette, I'm sorry, but this site doesn't manufacture, prescribe, n...

My primary dr refuses to prescribe any pain medication at all for me, even though I have 2 ruptured discs, and my L5-S1 is completely gone so it's bone on bone and I have the MRI to prove it. He sent me to a pain management doctor, whose policy is to refer back to the primary for any narcotics...the Professional Run-around... I was on Tramadol from January 2014 to May. It wasn't the best, but made it so I could function. I had a seizure from it the first week of May, and have been without any medication ever since. Both doctors know this, and won't do anything. I have been waiting since May for authorization from the insurance for facet injections. This is ridiculous that I have been in so much pain that I sleep less than an hour a night, have had to go on a medical leave fro...

I have been trying for something to fix my migraines for years. After trying preventatives my neurologist went to narcotics. I went through oxy percs injectable Demerol (100mg) and NOTHING worked as well as the Dilaudid has, my dr got banned from writing anything controlled for 3 years. I live in Tyler Tx. Someone PLEASE HELP ME. I have at least 15 migraines a month. I've been in and out of the E.R. so much its ridiculous since he got shut down. ## Hello, Jamie! Sorry that you're so miserable. Have you considered seeing a different doctor? That's really going to be your only option to get the help you need, right now. is there injection form of this pill and what would happen if you did inject it? ## Hello, Fancy! How are you? There is a liquid that is formulated for such use. It isn't safe to do that with pills, since they contain fillers and excipients that may cause blockages. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am looking for a doctor in sioux falls, sd that's not "afraid" to prescribe narcotic pain meds. I've had severe back pain for years, have been through chiropractors, physical therapy, injections, nothing helped. I feel like I just had to learn to live with the pain. Since having 2 kids, the pain has increased immensely, but my current Doc will not give me anything that helps. I have tried meloxicam, gabepentin, tramadol (which I found I was allergic to, though it did help slightly), and feel I am about to overdose on naproxen and tylenol, because they are all I have access to and though they don't help, I keep hoping they may if I take enough. I need something to help me function normally so that I can be a good mother. I hate just dealing with the pain. Thanks in ...

what is this pill used for? side effects? ## What does 4 milligram dilota do for you and is it better in pill form or injection in the vain? How long does it last? ## The correct drug name is Dilaudid, it is Hydromorphone, a very potent narcotic pain reliever. It is not safe to inject pills AT ALL, very dangerous. I have had 4 steroid injections for sciatic back pain with no relief. I have tried acupuncture to no avail and am now trying the Hydrocodone but am concerned it may be addictive. What signs should I be aware of when taking this medication every day? ## Hello, Maxine! How are you? Yes, the FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. I think it will best help you, if I explain how/why addiction happens. Narcotics can cause a high feeling and energy, in some people that take them, but since those are just side effects, these symptoms eventually wear off, as their bodies become used to the medication. Thus, they have to keep taking more an mo...

white oval shaped pill with the number 58 on one side and 93 on the other ## This pill is not Travasol, it is something totally different, this is Tramadol 50mgs, this is a mild, non-narcotic pain reliever, if you are supposed to be on Travasol, which is an amino acid injection treatment, then you have the wrong prescription.
